Alex was leading Jude and Connor around the venue he rented for his wedding.
"It just feels like something is missing" Alex said.
"So are you really going to be the one walking down the aisle?" Connor asked. "I mean why do you even have to do that? It's so traditional."
"I want too do it" Alex said. "But don't worry I won't wear a dress."
Jude laughed.
"I'm so nervous" Alex said. "Tomorrow is the biggest day of my life."
"Don't worry it'll be okay" Jude told Alex. "Nothing is going to mess up your wedding."
"Well Noah is coming" Connor said.
Alex looked worried.
"Alex don't worry" Jude said. "Noah promised he's only coming as your friend."
Alex nodded.
"Thanks Jude your a really good bro.." Alex started but corrected himself. "Friend."
"So good news is at least Callie and Max can't be considered incest since they use to date" Connor joked.
Alex and Jude gave Connor a look.
"Too soon?"
"I just need a guardian angel" Alex said.
"And here she is" a familiar voice said. A smile came to Alex's face. Alex turned to see Mariana. And the two hugged. "God I've missed your sexy ass."
Alex pulled away laughing.
"Hey little brother" Mariana greeted Jude.
"Hey loser" Jude joked.
The two quickly hugged.
"So are you nervous?" Mariana asked Alex.
"The most I've ever been" Alex admitted. "I feel like throwing up."
"That happened to me" Mariana said. "But I was pregnant."
Alex laughed.
"So did you bring Wyatt?" Jude asked.
"He couldn't make it" Mariana said.
"But you made it seem like you were bringing someone with you" Jude said confused.
"Oh right" Mariana said. "The mystery man." She then called out to someone. "Hey you." Then Jesus appeared.
"Oh my god!" Jude said excitedly. "I missed you dumbass!"
The two brothers hugged. Alex stared at the two missing Max who couldn't make it.
"Excuse me" Alex said walking off.
Jude and Connor exchanged a worried look.
"I got this" Mariana said. "What he needs is some Mariana time."
Mariana walked off.
Alex stood in the bathroom and Mariana entered.
"Why are you in the boys bathroom?" Alex asked horrified.
Mariana ignored the question.
"Hey are you okay?" Mariana asked.
"Yeah I'm fine" Alex said. "I just miss my brother. When we were younger we were really close. Then I found out Jude was my brother and then I find out he never was. I just have to accept I don't have a big family like the rest of you do."
Mariana sits down next to Alex.
"You know nothing is wrong with not having a big family" Mariana said. "I mean I love my family but my family is crazy. Big families are crazy so maybe your lucky to find out that your family isn't so big."
"I just wish my brother was here" Alex said.
"I'm sure he wishes he was too" Mariana said. "I'm sure he doesn't want to miss your special day."
Alex nodded.
"Tomorrow is going to be okay" Mariana promised. "It's going to be the best day of your life."
That night, Ava and Peter set up the baby's room.
"I am so happy were pregnant" Peter said happily. "I can't wait to see his or her face."
"I bet you pass out" Ava joked.
"Probably" Peter pulled Ava into his arms. "You know how big of a crybaby I can be."
"And that's what I love about you" Ava said. "it's because your so in touch with your emotions."
Peter laughed and they kissed.
Jude sat on the couch looking at a photo of him and Alex. Jude wipes his eyes crying. Connor entered and Jude tried to hide it but Connor saw.
"Okay fine I'm crying" Jude admitted. "Okay? I just don't get it." Jude stood up. "Why would she do that? She let us all believe that he was Callie's brother. I really thought he was my brother, Connor. And it's not right. It's not right."
Connor hugged Jude.
"I know" Connor said. "But it doesn't matter if he's not your brother. It doesn't mean you guys love each other any less does it? He's still your best friend."
Jude kept crying.
"It just hurts so bad, Connor" Jude cried.
"I know it does, Jude. I know it does."
Alex heard his phone ring and seen that it was Max.
"Hey Max. Yeah I get it. Trust me I understand. You'll be missed. Bye love you too."
Alex hung up and looked sad. Tyler entered.
"Was that your brother?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah" Alex said. "He still can't make it but it's okay. He can't help it. He has a job to do."
"He could take one day off for you" Tyler said. "He's your brother."
Alex shrugged.
"Alex give me the phone he's coming to our wedding" Tyler said. "That's what family is supposed to do. Show up."
"No" Alex snapped. "Look I'm sorry if I didn't grow up in a little apple pie eating 7th heaven type of family like you did and I'm sorry if I don't want to talk about it. Just leave it alone."
Alex stormed off.
The next day, Alex stared at his reflection in the mirror. Jude entered.
"So are you nervous?" Jude asked.
Alex stared at Jude.
"You look amazing" Jude said.
"Yeah there's just one problem" Alex said. "I don't know if I can go through with this.."
