Jude entered the school and Alex ran up to him.
"There's my amazing best friend" Alex said happily. "I am so glad we're back. The birds are chirping. The gays are shopping. We're officially juniors."
Jude giggled.
"So how was Paris?" Jude asked. "We missed you."
"I spent most of my summer with my Aunt" Alex said. "I hooked up with a guy in Paris. Oh my god it was like the best summer romance a gay could ask for."
Alex smiled.
"But it was just a fling" Alex said. "it ended when summer did."
"Okay how did you really spend your summer?" Jude asked. "Because I think I would remember a text about a hot summer fling."
"Fine" Alex rolled his eyes. "I spent my summer working at some Photography studio with my Aunt. My aunt thinks I have a unique ability with a camera. Is it so hard to believe I could have an epic romance, Jude?"
"I just meant if you did you would have texted me" Jude said. "I on the other hand had the most romantic summer ever."
Alex rolled his eyes.
"Yeah" Alex replied. "If doing it in the bushes is what you call romance."
"Hush up" Jude said. "Your just jealous because I had a romantic summer and you worked all summer."
Alex rolled his eyes annoyed.
"I seriously wanna punch you in the face" Alex smirked.
"You can't" Jude replied. "Best friends can't hit best friends. Look I'm sorry if I'm bragging too much. But this summer it was intense and epic. And the best summer for me and Connor."
"Well I'm happy for you guys" Alex said. "Speaking of your hot boyfriend where is he?"
Jude gives Alex a look.
"What?" Alex asked. "I had sex with him so yeah I'm going to call him hot. It's not like I'm in love with the guy. Besides I'm focusing on me this year."
"Still?" Jude asked. "Looked your obviously lonely so you should get back out there and date."
"And who am I going to date?" Alex asked. "Craig? Jake? No guy in this school likes me or finds me attractive."
Alex then bumps into Ethan. Alex's books fall and Ethan picks them up and hands them to Alex.
"Sorry about that" Ethan smiled at Alex. "I'm Ethan Summers. My step mom is Vice Principal Monte."
"I'm...." Alex tried.
"Alex" Jude whispered to Alex.
"I'm Alex" Alex got out. "Alex Harper."
Ethan smiles at Alex.
"Well Alex Harper I hope I see you around again" Ethan replied smiling. "Later."
Ethan walked off.
"Wow" Alex said. "He is so cute! And he's the first guy to not put the moves on you. God I bet he's straight."
Jude rolled his eyes.
Connor stood in the locker room and Jake entered.
"I can't believe the coach wants us to do baseball tryouts on the first day" Jake said to Connor. "I mean it's the first day of school."
"Dude maybe you should stop whining" Connor replied.
"if we weren't best friends I'd be offended" Jake smirked.
"Yeah" Connor replied. "How did we even become best friends? I mean I'm hot and your annoying."
