Jude laid on the couch watching sad movies and Connor entered.
"Where's the kids?" Connor asked.
"Your dad and Karla wanted to keep them this weekend" Jude said sadly.
"I know you miss them" Connor said. "But Dad and Karla.."
"I'm not worried about Mason and Stacy" Jude said. "I'm upset over Alex. He's never stood up to me like that. I can't really be mad I did take his friendship for granted."
"No you didn't" Connor said.
"Connor I always thought of him as this fragile scared little boy" Jude said. "Which is probably why I've felt protective of him all these years. But I was wrong. He doesn't need me. He's a lot stronger than I am."
Connor sits down next to Jude.
"Alex will regret pushing you away" Connor said. "He just needs to figure things out right now. That's all then he'll come to his sens.."
"Connor stop!" Jude snapped standing up. "Stop telling me it's going to be okay. Because it's not. I've lost my best friend and you act like it's his fault! After everything I did to him.."
"He did bad stuff to you too" Connor pointed out.
"What did he do?" Jude snapped. "Try to get with you freshman year? Get me fired? I'm the one who slept with you when you two were married.. I ruined his marriage.."
"Why are you bringing this up now?"Connor asked. "That was almost two years ago."
"Connor it's my fault" Jude said. "I'm the one he hates."
"That's not true" Connor tried to walk towards Jude. But Jude pushed him away.
"Leave me alone!" Jude screamed running into the bedroom and slamming the door.
"Do we have to do this tonight?" Alex asked. "I mean Callie and Mariana will both be there."
"So?" Brandon asked. "Your the one who thinks we should tell them."
"Well we've admitted to each other were in love" Alex said. "So I would have to say we've gotten serious enough. But if your not ready I don't want to push you..."
Brandon touched Alex's face.
"Of course I am" Brandon smiled. "I want them to know that I'm in love with you. I want my family to know how much you mean to me."
They share a kiss and smile at each other.
"I love you too" Alex smiled.
"I know you don't want to talk about it" Brandon said. "But Jude really misses you. Connor told me Jude has been really bad depressed lately."
Alex nodded.
"I just need to figure out who I am" Alex said. "Without Jude in my life. I hope you can understand that."
"Yeah" Brandon said. "I won't push you on it. Talk to Jude when your ready."
They kiss again.
That night, Jamie hung out with Ashley and Ashlyn.
"So where's Chad?" Ashley asked. "He's totally usually here."
"Totally" Ashlyn agreed.
"He told me he had to stay home" Jamie said. "He said that it was family stuff."
Kenneth and Mitch entered. They joined them.
"Too bad Chad couldn't make it" Mitch said. "Because I got the new car game and it'll blow your mind."
