Alex entered Victoria's office.
"Some guy named Frank BrayZay called" Alex said making a funny face. "He wants you to call him. He said it was important."
Victoria laughed.
"What?" Alex asked.
"You" Victoria said. "Frank has a strange last name but hrs good to have in this business. He comes to town once a year to check on us. So when he gets here be nice."
"I will" Alex said.
Victoria smiled. Tyler entered and handed Victoria her mail.
"Tyler what are you doing here?" Victoria asked.
"I decided to take dad on his offer" Tyler said. "He gave me this job."
Tyler and Alex shared a look.
"See you around Alex" Tyler said smiling walking out.
Alex blushed and Victoria eyed him.
"What?" Alex asked innocently.
"I know that look" Victoria smiled. "Do you like him?"
"No" Alex replied. "Look I barely even know the guy."
"Then get to know him" Victoria winked.
Alex was left to his thoughts.
Jude walked through the market with Daria.
"She's got a really bad virus" Daria said. "So can I stay with you tonight? My Mom has the baby. I can't get sick either. I have too much work."
"Sure" Jude agreed. "Me and
Alex love your company."
"I won't be interrupting the boys palace?" Daria joked. "Neither of you have brought anyone there yet. I mean in a romantic way."
"Well I'm still single" Jude said. "And Alex.. well I'm not sure if he's over Noah moving to New York."
"I miss Noah" Daria said. "He's the only guy that was ever good to Alex."
Jude nodded. They then came face to face with Connor.
"Oh shit" Daria said. "This ain't going to be pretty. I'm going to go..." Daria tried to come up with something then she smirked. "Have my period."
Connor stared awkwardly as she walked off. He then looked at Jude. He could tell Jude didn't want to mess with him.
"I made a mistake" Connor told Jude. "How many times do I have to say sorry before you believe me?"
"Until you mean it" Jude snapped. Jude walked off leaving an upset Connor behind.
Alex walked to the copier and starting copying the paper his mom asked him too. Tyler joined him.
"Hey" Tyler greeted.
"So why did you want to work here?" Alex asked. "I thought family business wasn't your cup of tea. Isn't that what you told me the other night?"
Tyler laughed.
"I figured if your going to work here" Tyler said. "Maybe it won't suck so bad."
Alex laughed.
"You want to hang out sometime?" Tyler asked. "I mean as friends. I'm not ready for another relationship. Just getting out of rehab and dating don't mix."
"It's cool" Alex said. "I just got out of a relationship but I'd love to hang out as friends."
Tyler smiled.
"Awesome" Tyler said. "We can watch some TV and make fun of all the reality shows."
"Oh my god" Alex said. "You and me are going to get along famously."
Tyler blushed and smiled at Alex.
That night, Jude sat on the couch and Alex exited his room.
"How is it you have a hot date and I'm stuck here with a bisexual fashion designer?" Jude asked.
"Well number one I'm hotter" Alex said. Jude laughed. "And number two it's not a date. Were just two friends hanging out. That's it."
Jude nodded.
"Okay just don't put out" Daria said. "It might make you look easy."
"Never stopped you" Alex joked. "But I have to go. Bye!"
Peter ate dinner with Connor.
"So have you heard from your dad?" Peter asked.
"No" Connor said. "His memory is still messed up. I'm learning to live with it."
Peter nodded.
"He'll remember eventually" Peter said.
"it's been months" Connor said. "Eventually it'll be a year. I'm afraid he can't remember me."
"What about Jude?" Peter asked.
"He hates me" Connor said. "He'll never take me back."
"Can we talk about your ex husband for a moment" Peter smiled. "You owe me 900 bucks."
"That bet wasn't real" Connor tried.
"Yeah right" Peter smirked. "A deals a deal. You two divorced now I wants my money!"
Connor rolled his eyes.
"Fine!"
Alex and Tyler watch TV together and laugh. Janet enters the room.
"Alex what are you doing here?" Janet asked.
"I invited him over" Tyler said. Janet smiled and Tyler giving him a look. "No mom were just friends."
Janet rolled her eyes.
"Yeah" Janet said. On her way out she gave Tyler a thumbs up and he rolled his eyes and she laughed.
"Sorry about my mom" Tyler said. "She likes to embarrass me."
"I think it's kinda cute" Alex flirted.
"Do you?" Tyler laughed.
They laugh again and smile at each other. Tyler then leans in but they are interrupted by James.
"What's this?" James asked.
"We're hanging out dad" Tyler said.
"Alex I think you need to leave" James said.
"Dad I'm 26" Tyler said. "I doubt I need a bedtime."
Alex stood up.
"It's cool" Alex said. "I'll see you later, Tyler."
"See you at work" James said harshly.
Alex walked out. James stared at Tyler.
"What are you doing?" James asked. "Are you trying to fuck up your life?"
