A few months later, Jude enters Alex's bedroom and sits in the floor with Daria, Taylor and Jake.
"I can't believe the trail starts tomorrow" Daria said. "The least we can do is support Alex."
Alex enters and joins them.
"How are you?" Jake asked.
"I'm fine" Alex replied. They all gave him a look. "What? Guys trust me. Yes I'm a little terrified about tomorrow but other than that I'm good. I'm feeling confident that Craig is going to get his Karma."
"We're all going to be there to support you" Taylor said. "I'll be giving Craig my death glare."
Alex laughed.
"Thanks" Alex replied.
"I'll be there too" Jake said. "Jude needs his man there to lean on."
Jude rubbed Jake's arm. They kissed. Daria rolled her eyes and made kissing faces with Taylor as a joke leaving Taylor blushing.
"Connor's going to be there too" Alex said.
Jude felt uncomfortable and Jake seemed pissed.
"Why is he going to be there?" Jake asked bitterly. "That's kinda stupid for him to show up."
"He's my friend" Alex snapped. "He defended me against Craig. Meanwhile you were shoving your tongue down my best friend's throat. So I think Connor has more of a reason to be there than you do. So if I was you I'd shut up."
Daria giggles.
"Truth" Daria said smiling at Alex.
The next day, Alex sat in the courtroom next to his lawyer Master Wilkerson. Alex was staring intently at the judge. He turned to see his friends who smiled at him. He looked over at Craig who gave him a hateful look.
"Spoiled little brat" Craig's attorney Jeff Blue said. "See we have all met kids like Alexander Harper. Using his parents money to get whatever he needed to be done. My client is a innocent young man who is being used because the spoiled rich boy didn't get what he wanted. Now I ask you" Jeff looked at the jury. "is it right to point fingers just because Alexander Harper and one of his little friends say such a thing? I say not."
Alex looked around terrified.
"He's just trying to scare you" Master whispered to Alex. "Your going to win this case."
Alex felt unsettled. He was afraid he was going to lose.
"Alexander Harper had a bad reputation" Jeff told the jury. "At all of his old schools he was known for making other kids his age cry. He was a bully. He was sent here to 'find himself'. Alex isn't innocent and Craig Nurburry did not rape him!"
Jude exchanged worried looks with Daria and Taylor. Jude then seen Connor sitting with Mr. Stevens. Jude smiled at Connor who didn't return the smile.
Alex sat on the bench alone om break. Lena walked to him.
"Hey are you okay?" Lena asked. "It was pretty intense in there."
She sat down next to him.
"I'm not lying" Alex told Lena. "He really did this to me."
"I believe you" Lena replied.
