Jude walked down the hallway to his locker. He opened it up and put his book bag up. Connor appeared.
"Don't you need that for class?" Connor asked smiling. "I doubt the teacher will be happy with just Jude and no back pack."
Jude smiled.
"I'm not going to first period today" Jude said.
"Why?" Connor asked.
"I'm trying out for Mariana's dance team" Jude said.
Connor busted out laughing and Jude gave him a look and Connor stopped.
"Wait your serious?" Connor asked. "You can't dance."
"Mariana asked me too try out" Jude said. "So Alex and I are going to try out."
"I'm sure you'll be fine" Connor said trying not to laugh. "I'm sure you got some kind of move you don't suck at."
"Haha" Jude said.
Alex walked over with a smile on his face.
"I'm so ready" Alex said. "I'm ready to show your sister what I can do."
"At least you can dance" Jude said. "According to Connor here I got no movement in my body whatsoever."
"Hey I like your body movement" Connor flirted.
Jude smiled at Connor.
"I hate to ruin this flirtation moment between you two" Alex said. "But we better hurry."
"Bye Connor" Jude said kissing Connor on the cheek. "See you later."
Alex and Jude rushed to the gym.
"Okay" Mariana said. "Boys. Girls. I just want you to show me what you can do. Have fun with it and don't be afraid to express who you are."
Mariana hit the play button on her phone and a song played. Her and Emma watched the younger students begin to dance.
Jude was trying his best but he seen Alex give him a weird look.
"What are you doing?" Alex asked.
"Dancing" Jude said like the answer was obvious.
"Okay" Alex said. "It looked like you was having some weird type of spasm or something."
"I'm just not that good" Jude said.
"It takes practice" Alex replied. "You can't just dance and think your going to be the next Fred Astaire."
"Who's Fred Astaire?" Jude asked. "Is he in our class?"
Mariana and Emma stared at Jude.
"Your doing great Jude" Mariana called out to Jude.
"He's not doing great" Emma whispered.
"No he is not" Mariana said.
"You can tell he's related to Callie" Emma said. "But Alex he's really good."
"Yeah" Mariana said. "I wouldn't of guessed it."
They watched Alex do some sort of spin flip thing and they clapped.
"Woo! Alex you on fire!" Emma shouted.
Alex smiled.
"Okay everyone" Mariana said. "I want to think you all for coming in today. Even if your not the best" Mariana looked at Jude who rolled his eyes. "Don't give up if you love dancing."
At lunch, Jude sat with Connor, Alex, Daria, Ben, Taylor, and Jake.
"So how we're tryouts?" Daria asked.
