"What do you mean you can't do this?" Jude asked. "You've been waiting for this day forever. Now what you can't do it?"
"I'm scared" Alex told Jude.
"Tyler loves you" Jude said. "He's been there for you. You can't just give up on him."
"I just feel so scared" Alex said. "It doesn't feel right without my dad here."
"I know you miss Robert" Jude said.
"No I meant Glen my real father" Alex said.
"Well he's not here" Jude said. "Your getting married and I won't let you chicken out. Because I know you'll regret it."
Alex nodded.
At the high school, Kenneth sat at lunch with Jamie, Ashley, Ashlyn and Mitch.
"I played that game 100 times" Mitch told Kenneth. "Who knew you and me would have so much in common."
"That is like totally amazing" Ashley said happily. "Like my outfit."
"Totally" Ashlyn said.
Ashley then noticed Jamie staring at Buzz.
"Oh your staring at Buzz?" Ashley asked. "OMG! I totally ship it!"
"I totally do too" Ashlyn said excitedly.
"Me and him are just friends" Jamie said. "He doesn't like me like that."
Ashley and Ashlyn rolled their eyes and exchanged a look. Jamie got up and threw his tray away.
"Hey freak" Chad said. "I see you people stole my best friend."
"Actually you scared him off" Jamie told Chad.
"Damn Jamie you might want to stop flirting with me" Chad smiled. "People might hear you."
"I'm not flirting with you" Jamie told Chad.
"I know you want me" Chad said.
"Yeah right" Jamie said. "I don't go for straight guys who bully people. Even if you were gay I still wouldn't go for you."
Jamie walked off.
"So do you Tyler Harrison take Alexander Harper to love and to hold from this day forward?"
Alex smiled at Tyler.
"No I don't" Tyler said. "I'm sorry Alex. I thought I was ready for this. But I'm just not ready. I'm sorry."
Tyler stormed off. Alex walked after Tyler and found him walking to his car.
"TYLER!"
Tyler turned around.
"What happened in there?" Alex asked. "I mean one minute everything is fine now your leaving me."
"I got a call" Tyler said. "For this amazing job in Chicago. And I know you'll never leave this place. So I'm choosing Chicago over you."
Alex stared at Tyler and wiped his eyes.
"Okay" Alex said. "You should follow after your dreams. Even if it means the end of us."
Tyler cried and Alex hugged him.
That night, Jude and Connor entered their apartment.
"Well what a day" Connor said. "We went to see Alex get married then they don't even get married."
"I don't think neither of them were fully ready" Jude said. "And with everything Alex found out I'm not shocked he would second guess."
"Your not second guessing our marriage are you?" Connor asked.
"Of course not" Jude said. "I love you. Your the one I want to be with. But I'm sure if their meant to be they'll find their way back."
"I don't think their meant to be" Connor told Jude.
Jude stared at Connor.
"What?"
"I just don't think they were good together" Connor said."maybe the next guy Alex finds will be the one."
"No Tyler is the one he's supposed to be with" Jude said. "They were perfect."
"I don't think so" Connor said.
Ava and Peter eat dinner with Daria and Taylor at the venue.
"it sucks they didn't go through with it" Taylor said.
"At least the food won't go to waste" Daria said.
"I wonder why they canceled" Ava said. "This is the first wedding I've been too where the couple didn't get married."
"Yeah" Peter said. "But these things happen. I'm sure if their meant to be together they'll find their way back to each other."
"Yeah" Daria said. "Your right."
The next day, Jude watched Mason play with his teddy bear. Jude picked him up.
"Dada" Mason said.
"Oh my god!" Jude practically shouted. "Connor!"
Connor rushed in.
"Where's the fire?" Connor asked alarmed.
"He said dada" Jude said. "Come on Mason say it for daddy. Come on."
"Dada" Mason smiled.
"Oh my god" Connor said happily. "He talked!!"
"I know!" Jude cried happily. He kissed Mason on the head. "Our little boy."
Alex picked up a picture of him and Tyler together and put it in the box. He put all the things that reminded him of Tyler in the box. He then put the box in his closet. And shut the door. Shutting the door on Tyler. Maybe forever.
