Jude sat in class with Alex and Daria.
"The first full week of school and she's sick" Daria said. "Who gets sick on the first week of school?"
"Apparently Taylor does" Alex replied. "I hope she's not contagious because I shared my hot pocket with her the other day."
"This sucks" Daria said. "I miss my girlfriend."
Jude laughed.
"So Judie" Alex said smiling. "Where is your boyfriend? He's like 15 minutes late."
"Maybe he has baseball or something" Jude suggested.
"Then why" Alex started then pointed at Jake who was asleep. "Is this snoring idiot here? He plays baseball. Yet he's here. Could it be possible that you forgot a make out session?"
"Me and Connor did not set up a make out session during this class" Jude replied. "That's during our last period."
Daria giggled.
They then seen Connor enter.
"Why is he so late?" Alex asked Jude.
"I don't know" Jude responded.
A pill bottle fell out if Connor's bag after he sat down with them. He quickly picked it up.
"What's that?" Jude asked.
"Nothing babe" Connor said quickly putting it into his bag.
"Connor you got some drugs?" Alex asked. "Give me one. We can pill pop together."
Daria laughed.
"Shut up" Connor snapped.
"Calm down" Alex told Connor. "It was just a joke."
"I don't care" Connor shouted. "Screw you."
"You kinda already did" Alex said. Daria laughed. "seriously Connor learn to take a joke."
"Yeah and learn to take a hint" Connor said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Alex asked.
"That no one wants you" Connor said. "And nobody ever will."
"Wow" Alex said. "Seems like the ass in you returned."
Alex rolled his eyes and stared at the front. Connor jumped up.
"Mr. Stevens" the teacher said. "Where do you think your going?"
Connor stormed out without saying anything. Jude stared at his boyfriends exit. He knew Connor wasn't mad about Alex. Or anything. And whatever was going on it had to do with the pills.
At lunch, Jude sat with Daria and Jake.
"I just don't know what to do" Jude said. "I mean what if he's really on drugs?"
"Just because Alex made a joke about it doesn't make it true" Daria pointed out. "You know how Alex can be. He's hilarious. And smart. And he can rock a pair of skinnies. If I had a penis.."
"Okay" Jude interrupted her. "Can we please get back to Connor?"
"Fine" Daria replied.
"So what should I do?" Jude asked. "I mean do you think he's on drugs. Well Jake? I mean you are his best friend. So what do you think?"
"I don't know" Jake told Jude. "I mean if I was him I'd probably do drugs."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jude asked harshly.
