Callie stared at Jude.
"So your saying all this time he was never my brother?' Callie asked. "Oh my god. I was there for him. I stood up for him and he's not even my brother."
"It doesn't change anything" Jude said.
"Are you kidding, Jude?" Callie asked. "It changes everything. Just wait until my Dad finds out."
"Well Alex is going to tell him tonight" Jude said. "Robert loves Alex he can't just pretend like he doesn't care about Alex."
"Jude you don't see how important this is" Callie said. "When he finds out Alex isn't his son it's going to break him. He can't pretend like nothing has changed. He'll have to let go."
"Why?" Jude asked. "It's just a stupid test. He's been there for Alex for years. He's been a father to Alex."
"Yeah" Callie said. "But he won't look at it like that."
Jude stared.
At the high school, Jamie sat in class with Ashley and Ashlyn.
"We have totally been ignoring Chad and Mitch" Ashley said.
"Totally" Ashlyn agreed. "When they apologize to Kenny we will totally be okay with them."
"Um Kenny?" Jamie said. "My brother doesn't like nicknames."
"He totally said I could call him Kenny" Ashley said happily. "Like I was totally happy."
"Really?" Jamie asked curiously.
"Yeah and I was like totally" Ashley smiled.
Chad worked out in the locker room and Mitch entered.
"Have you seen my pain pills?" Mitch asked. "I can't find them. And my leg still hurts."
"No haven't seen them" Chad said.
Mitch walked out and Chad pulled a pill bottle from his pocket and put one in his mouth. He then continued to work out. Chad didn't notice but Kenneth was also in the locker room and he witnessed this. Kenneth rushed out.
Kenneth wasn't sure what he was going to do.
That night, Alex sat across from Robert.
"So she paid off the doctor to lie and say I was your son" Alex told Robert.
"She did that?" Robert asked. "But.."
"She did" Alex said. "This Glen guy is my biological father. I had a test done and it wasn't messed with this time."
Robert nodded.
"I mean I know this is a lot to take in" Alex said. "But I love you and it doesn't mean things have to change. I mean this doesn't change anything, right?"
Robert cried and wiped his eyes and looked at Alex.
"It changes everything" Robert said. "I really wish it didn't but it does. I'm not your father..."
"So now you want me gone" Alex said.
Robert didn't speak up. Alex got up and walked to the door and turned back around.
"What she did was wrong" Alex said. "But I'm glad she did it. I had a family that loved me. But now I lost that but gained something better. A parent who won't give up on me. And that's my Mom. Have a good night Mr. Quinn."
