In New York, Jude woke up to the sound of his cell phone ringing. He quickly grabbed it and walked into the bathroom.
"Hello? Who is this?" Jude asked.
"Gerald Franco" the voice said. "I just was calling to tell you the good news."
"Good news?" Jude was confused.
"You passed your audition" Gerald told him. "So I'll be emailing you all the information. We start taping in three weeks."
"Three weeks?" Jude asked skeptical. "That's like a week after I graduate."
"is that a problem?" Gerald asked.
"No" Jude said. "I won't let you down."
"Good" Gerald replied. "See you in three weeks. Have a good day."
"You too."
Jude hung up. He had a job. He actually had a serious acting gig. One where he would be paid money. He felt all giddy inside. But then he stopped because he had no clue how Connor would take this.
At Anchor Beach, Connor stretches in gym class. Alex walks over to him.
"Wow your actually here today" Connor said. "I figured you would of missed today too."
"Oh somebody missed me" Alex joked. "Look I'm flattered but I have a boyfriend."
"Funny" Connor smiled. "So have you heard anything from Jude?"
"No" Alex said. "He's pretty busy being crazy excited about the big apple."
"He has a big apple?" Connor asked.
"New York dumbass" Alex replied smirking.
"You think your funny" Connor replied.
"Oh I know I am" Alex told Connor. "So have you gotten to apply for college housing yet? Dad paid extra so I can have my own room."
"Damn" Connor replied. "Now we can't be roommates."
"Good" Alex said. "Now you can't watch me undress."
Connor laughed and rolled his eyes.
"Well I have to run" Alex told Connor. "Try not too obsess over Jude too much."
Connor smiled as Alex rushed off. Connor suddenly had an idea. Something that would make him and Jude connected for life no matter where they ended up.
At lunch, Daria sat with Taylor.
"Where's everyone at?" Daria asked. "Better yet where's Alex and Connor?"
"Maybe their screwing each other" Taylor said.
Daria gave her a look. They both started laughing.
"Oh my god I love you" Daria said. "You always can make me laugh."
Taylor smiled at Daria. Taylor leaned in and they kissed.
"Next year we will be going to ABSU" Taylor said. "This is crazy, Dar."
"Yeah it is" Daria agreed. "And just think we're going to be roommates. So we can do it all the time."
They smile at each other and kiss passionately.
In New York, Jude sits at a coffee shop with Jonas.
"So you got the part?" Jonas asked.
