Jude runs through the hospital in slow motion. He runs to Taylor and Daria. Taylor tells Jude something while tearing up. Jude seems to shocked by whatever she tells him. He rushes down the hallway. He sees Connor in a fragile state. Adam pulls Connor into a comforting hug.
"He'll be okay" Jude hears Adam tell Connor.
Jude is left feeling guilty.
Hours Earlier, Jude walked to his office and sat down. Taylor entered.
"So I've been building you up to Alex" Taylor told Jude.
"Building me up?" Jude asked obviously amused.
"Yeah" Taylor replied. "Alex respects my opinion and I'm trying to help you repair your friendship with him. Okay?"
"You don't have to do that" Jude said. "It means a lot but you don't have too."
"Yes I do" Taylor told Jude. "I want everything to go back to normal around here. I mean your back at Anchor Beach to repair your failed friendships and I find that brave of you."
Jude felt guilty because he was only back for Connor and he knew that. But nobody else did. Sure they expected it but they weren't sure.
"Well thank you" Jude said. "That means a lot."
Taylor smiles at Jude.
"Come on let's get some breakfast" Taylor said.
The two friends walked out of the office and walked down the hallway to see Leo talking with Lena.
"Why is he here?" Jude asked Taylor.
"I don't know" Taylor said. "Lena is probably just making plans with him for the paper to take pictures at this year's graduation."
Jude nodded. Leo noticed them and walked over to them.
"Hey Taylor" Leo greeted happily. "Oh Jude it's been so long I haven't seen you" Leo then got bitter. "Since you punched me for no apparent reason. See you around poser."
Leo gave Jude a look and walked off. Jude glared at Leo departing.
"I can't stand him" Jude said. "He's evil."
"No he's not" Taylor said. "Him and Daria are actually pretty close these days. So him and Craig come over a lot. Their married."
"You allow Craig into your home?" Jude asked appalled.
"Jude" Taylor said. "He's changed. He's a rape counselor now. He regrets what he did. Just think he has to live what he did for the rest of his life."
"How are things between Alex and him?" Jude asked.
"Their civil towards each other" Taylor said. "Their not friends or anything but it's not like how it use to be."
Jude nodded.
"So he's a better person these days?" Jude asked.
"Yeah" Taylor said. "So is Leo."
Jude rolled his eyes.
"Yeah. I'll believe it when I see it" Jude said bitterly.
Alex sat in the waiting room and looked at his watch. He was getting inpatient. He pulled out of his phone and tried calling Connor. He rolled his eyes. Daria returned.
"Their bathroom smells amazing" Daria commented. "So where's your husband? No offense but I have to get to work."
"It looks like he's not coming" Alex said standing up. "I mean this was his stupid idea and he doesn't even show up. I'll be back."
