Jake enters his apartment. He pulls off his shirt and heads to the shower. His phone rings.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Hello Jake" the voice said. "It's been forever."
"Excuse me?" Jake asked. "Do I know you?"
"Yeah" the voice said. "I'm the last face you'll see before you die."
Jake laughs.
"Funny" Jake said. "Prank someone else kid."
Jake hung up and headed to the shower. After he finished his shower he seen his apartment door wide open. He closed it and locked it and his phone rung.
"Hello?" Jake asked.
"Are you scared?" The voice said. "I'm inside your apartment."
The voice laughed.
"I'm about to kick your ass freak!" Jake shouted.
"Your going to die tonight" the voice said. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll make it to heaven."
Jake became horrified.
"Listen freak I'll kill you myself if you don't leave me alone" Jake warned.
"I'm in your bedroom closet" the voice said. "Come get me."
Jake picks up a knife and walks into his bedroom and opens the closet but doesn't see anything.
"Where the fuck are you?" Jake screamed.
"Right here" Eli screamed behind him.
Jake turned to see Eli. Eli stabbed Jake and Jake tackled Eli to the ground and then tried to run but Eli jumped on Jake and slit his throat. Jake fell over holding his neck.
Eli smiled.
"You look pathetic" Eli smiled. "I think Alex will be my next victim."
Jake shook his head 'no' Eli then stabbed Jake repeatedly.
Noah entered Jake's apartment.
"Jake?" Noah asked. "Are you here?"
Noah walked into the kitchen and grabbed him a cookie. He then headed into the living room. He then heard something fall in the hallway. He picked up the lamp and he then seen something red on the floor and he followed it into Jake's room and seen the body and he screamed and ran to Jake.
"Oh my god Jake!"
The next day, Jude and Alex stared at Connor.
"No your lying" Alex said. "Jake can't be dead. He just can't be..."
"They found his body Alex" Connor cried.
Alex then fell onto the floor crying. Jude sat in the floor holding onto his knees crying.
Connor stared at then both. He couldn't believe his best friend was really dead. But he was.
"Who would do this?" Jude asked wiping his tears away. "Who would kill Jake? What did he ever do to anyone?"
Connor helped Jude up and Jude then looked down at Alex who was still emotionally crying in the floor. Connor tried to help Alex up. But Alex jerked away.
"NO!" Alex said.
Daria and Taylor entered with sad looks on their faces. Taylor put her arm around Daria.
"I can't believe he's dead" Daria cried. "What kind of monster would kill him? It had to be somebody evil. I mean someone who doesn't have a heart."
Taylor rubbed her back. They then looked down at Alex who was still crying. Jude got back in the floor and laid next to Alex and rubbed his back.
"The police will find out who did it" Jude promised. "Jake will get justice."
Alex looked up at Jude.
"But he won't get his life back" Alex replied.
Stacy and Ethan eat lunch together.
"I can't believe he's dead" Ethan said. "I mean it just doesn't feel real to me."
"I know" Stacy said sadly. "He was fine the other day and now he's dead. Who would kill him?"
"I don't know" Ethan said. "It had to be someone really messed up."
Stacy nodded sadly.
"His birthday is in a few weeks" Stacy said. "He would have been 25 now he won't get to be.."
Stacy wiped her tears and Ethan hugged her.
"I know babe" Ethan said. "I know."
That night, Jude sat on the couch with Alex and Connor.
"Thank you guys for letting me stay over" Alex said. "I just can't be alone. I think after today I might try to drink and I can't.."
"it's okay" Jude said. "We're here for you."
Alex nodded.
"Jake never hurt anyone" Connor said. "He was a good guy. I mean he had his moments but he wasn't bad.. I don't get it."
Alex was suspicious that Eli was really the one killing people. But Jude thought it was just a prank that some kid pulled to freak Alex out. But Alex really believed Eli was back.
"Whoever did this will pay" Jude told Alex and Connor. "Okay?"
Connor nodded. Alex didn't say anything. He just stared at Jude.
"It'll be okay" Connor said. "Jude is right their going to catch whoever did it. Alex were going to be fine. Okay? No one is going to hurt you or me or Jude. I'll make sure of that. Your not leaving until this bastard is captured."
Jude nodded.
"You're safe" Jude assured. "With us. Nothing is going to happen here. Your safe."
Alex nodded but he still didn't feel safe. He felt terrified. He was scared he'd be next.
"So why did you go to his apartment?" The detective asked Noah.
"We were going to talk" Noah said. "We had just broken up and he wanted to talk to me about still being friends."
"Did you have anything to do with his murder?" The detective asked.
"No" Noah said. "I would never hurt another living thing. I'm not like that."
"We're you and Jake serious?" The detective asked.
"Not really" Noah said. "We got together because we were still hung up on our ex. And we were both kinda lonely I guess."
Ethan was sleeping on his couch and his phone rang and he picked it up.
"Stacy I told you I'm trying to sleep" he said.
"This isn't Stacy" the voice said.
"Who is this then?" Ethan asked.
"The person that killed Jake" the voice said. "And I have a proposal for you, Ethan."
"This isn't funny" Ethan said.
"And this isn't a joke" the voice said. "You remind me of myself in a lot of ways. So I want you to join me and bring down Jude and Connor and more importantly Alex."
"I'm not a psychotic bastard" Ethan said. "So I'm going to have to decline."
"Wrong answer!"
Eli then came out of nowhere and Ethan headed for the fire escape. Eli then came charging to him and knocked Ethan over it and Ethan fell with a snap. Eli smiled down at the body.
