Alex wakes up in Jonas' arms.
"Oh your still here?" Alex asked turning to face him. "I figured you'd be back in New York after a night like that."
"Last night was amazing" Jonas said. "Damn your good in bed."
"Oh I know" Alex smiled. "It's a gift really."
"Maybe I'll just stay for the weekend" Jonas said. "I mean after all were both horny."
Alex laughs. Alex sits up and grabs his bottle of his table and drinks from it.
"Do you always bring a whole bottle of vodka to the bedroom?" Jonas asked. "Or was last night that special?"
"Don't even try to say I have a problem" Alex said. "I am so fucking tired of everyone trying to fix me."
"Well if I told you you had a problem" Jonas said. "I'd be a hypocrite because I'm not perfect either. The drugs are too good to give up."
Alex laughs.
"Your so hot" Jonas said smiling. "Damn why didn't we have sex in high school?"
"Well back then I was dating Noah and you had a crush on Jude" Alex said.
"So do you still hate Jude?" Jonas asked.
Alex stared at Jonas.
"I don't hate him" Alex said. "Just the sight of him makes me want to cry."
"And the ex husband?" Jonas asked.
"I still love him" Alex said. "And I don't know why. I mean it's pathetic right? Part of me believes that he's going to come back. But I know deep down it won't happen. Against Jude I never stood a chance. He was right about me I'm unable to be loved. Always have been."
Jonas rubbed Alex's face.
"You and me both" Jonas said. "Everyone I care about leaves me. Jude broke my heart no telling how many times in New York."
"We're just not good enough" Alex said.
Jonas nodded agreeing before leaning in and kissing Alex.
"I want you" Alex moaned. "To make love to me."
Jonas smiled and they kissed again.
Jude enters the general store with Stacy.
"So glad you guys are having this cookout" Stacy said. "I'm starving. I didn't have time to eat this morning."
Jude laughed.
"We're excited about it" Jude said.
Stacy smiled.
"I feel guilty" Jude said. "About what happened with Alex. I think I may have made things worse."
"No you didn't, Jude" Stacy said. "You and Connor have a right to be engaged publicly. I admit Alex is going to be unhappy for a while but eventually he'll meet someone great and move on."
"I hope so" Jude said. "I hate feeling like the reason they split up. And his words can be so cruel lately. He's not the same Alex he was a year ago."
"He was married a year ago" Stacy said. "Divorce can change people."
Jude nodded. The two friends then ran into Leo. Leo gave Jude a mean look.
"What?" Jude snapped. "Every time you see me you give me a mean look. Why?"
"I don't trust you" Leo told Jude. "I mean after all you did sleep with Connor when he was still married. Sounds like a whore to me."
Jude punches Leo. He then covers his mouth regretting his action.
