It was a funeral. It was one of the saddest days for the Foster family. Jude was holding it together pretty fine. Connor touched Jude but Jude pulled away from his touch.
Brandon was crying and Alex hugged him. Brandon looked at Lena who was leaning onto both Mariana and Jesus.
Jude watched as the ceremony eventually ended. He didn't want to say goodbye to her. He didn't want to believe she was gone. His mom Stef Foster was gone. He couldn't believe it.
Jude entered his old house with Lena.
"Mama you should rest" Jude said.
"Yeah I should" Lena said. "But I can't. I won't be able to fall asleep without her by my side."
"It's not fair" Jude said.
"Yeah" Lena said. "But she died saving somebody. She died being a hero. That's how she wanted to be remembered, Jude."
Jude broke down.
"I want her back" Jude cried.
"I do too" Lena said hugging Jude. "I want her back too.."
Brandon looked at a photo of him and Stef together. Alex entered the room.
"Brandon" Alex said. "You need to try and get some sleep. You've had a bad day. You need to just shut down for a while."
"I can't" Brandon said.
Alex sat down next to Brandon.
"Alex you don't know what it's like to lose a parent" Brandon snapped.
"I don't?" Alex asked.
"Okay you kinda do" Brandon said. "But not like this."
"Your right" Alex said. "I've never lost a parent like this. But I lost friends like this. Danni, Stacy, Jake, Ethan, Craig."
"it's just not right that she's gone" Brandon broke down.
Alex pulled Brandon's head on him and rubbed through his hair while Brandon cried.
The next day, Jamie sat on the beach with Ashlyn.
"I am so glad it's summer" Jamie said. "School wore me down this year."
"I totally agree" Ashlyn replied. "This is what we needed. A summer to never forget."
"So what's with you and Mitch?" Jamie asked.
"We totally are just friends" Ashlyn said. "it's just like sex buddies."
"I could use one of those" Jamie joked.
"I could talk to Mitch for you" Ashlyn winked.
Jamie laughed. Ashley and Kenneth joined them.
"We are back" Ashley said. "Me and my amazing boyfriend were just making out."
"Yeah we were" Kenneth said happily.
They kiss again. Mitch joined them.
"Look who just showed up" Mitch said pointing.
The others seen Chad with Sasha. Jamie rolled his eyes. Chad made his way over to the group.
"Oh look it's the girls who 'totally' need help" Sasha said laughing. "I swear twins are stupid."
"Hey guys" Chad said. "Jamie."
Jamie put his headphones in. Chad looked hurt. The others gave him a look.
"I'll see you guys later" Chad said. "Come on Sash."
Chad and Sasha walked off. Jamie looked relived.
"No" Alex said into the phone. "I'm sure rescheduling would be best. But I'm not sure. Thank you. Okay bye."
Alex hung up and turned to see Brandon behind him.
"What was that about?" Brandon asked.
"I just canceled our appointment with Dr. Stone" Alex said.
"Why?" Brandon asked. "We needed to talk to him especially if we're going to go through with adoption."
"Brandon you just lost your mom" Alex said. "Maybe we should give it some time."
"Alex please I need something good right now" Brandon said. "I love you and I want us to have a baby. My mom wouldn't want us to cancel that. I want a baby but if it's a girl I want to name it after my mom."
"Are you sure?" Alex asked.
"I want this" Brandon said.
Alex nodded and dialed the doctor back.
Victoria sat with Glen.
"The funeral was so sad" Victoria told Glen. "it got me thinking about how anyone of us could go. And I'm tired of not doing anything. So Glen I want you to move in."
"What?" Glen asked. "Are you serious?"
"Yes I need you here with me" Victoria said. "it's what I want."
Glen kissed Victoria.
"Okay I'll move in."
Daria and Taylor eat lunch with Ava and Peter.
"I can't believe she's gone" Taylor said. "We used to go there all the time when we were younger she was an amazing woman."
"I actually looked up to her and Lena" Daria said. "They were this beautiful couple. I wanted us to be like them."
Taylor hugged up closer to her wife.
"It's pretty sad" Ava said. "I mean I work with Lena. I know this has gotta be tough on her."
"And Jude" Peter said. "I bet he's so broken."
Connor woke up and touched the side next to him but didn't feel Jude. He got up.
"Jude?" He called walking out of the room. He didn't see Jude anywhere. He then noticed a note on the table and quickly read through it. "Oh my god. Jude. No!"
