Alex enters his living room to see Daria sleeping on the couch. He rolled his eyes and hit her in the head. She jumped up.
"Jerk!" She shouted.
Alex laughed.
"Don't you have a house to get to?" Alex asked. "I mean after all your wife is now over her sickness. So go home."
"You just want me to leave so you can invite your new boyfriend over" Daria smirked.
"He's not my boyfriend" Alex said. "He's just a really good friend. That's it."
Daria rolled her eyes.
"Alex you can't just be friends with any hot gay guy" Daria said. "You dated Ethan. You dated Jake. You dated Noah."
"Me and Ethan didn't date" Alex confirmed. "We almost did. Besides Ethan wasn't gay. He was pansexual. And Tyler isn't gay. He's bisexual."
"Yes!" Daria said happily. "Another one like me!"
Alex rolled his eyes.
"Sorry" Daria said. "But I guarantee you that your going to kiss him."
"We almost did the other night" Alex admitted. "But his dad caught us."
"Don't tell me he still lives with his parents" Daria said laughing.
Alex rolled his eyes.
"Why does he?" Daria asked.
"I don't know" Alex said. "His mom is a sweetheart.. His dad is a major ass."
Daria nodded.
"I want to hang out with this Tyler guy" Daria said. "The group should meet him."
Alex shook his head.
"I don't think you should call you, me, Jude and Taylor a group" Alex said. "It doesn't feel the same since.."
Alex didn't finish and Daria nodded.
"I know."
Alex sits at his desk sorting papers. Tyler enters and sits on the desk.
"What is a hot guy like you doing working on a Saturday?" Tyler smiled.
"Well" Alex said. "My mom wanted my help so I came in. What about you? What brought you in here on a Saturday? Couldn't resist my adorable face, huh?"
Tyler laughed.
"Yeah" Tyler smiled. "And plus my Dad didn't come today so I'm happy to be here. And I'm sorry my Dad was such an ass the other night."
"it's okay" Alex said.
"No its not" Tyler said. "I really like you. And I like spending time with you. I think we're more alike than we realize. I just I never met someone like you before. Someone who gets me."
Alex blushed.
"I like spending time with you too" Alex smiled.
Tyler smiled and kissed Alex on the cheek.
"How about tonight?" Tyler asked. "We can go do whatever you want. We won't go to my house because my Dad's there and I don't wanna deal with him."
"Okay" Alex agreed. "You can come to my place. But don't be surprised if my friends are there."
Tyler laughed.
"I'm sure your friends are awesome" Tyler smiled.
"They can be annoying" Alex replied smiling.
"Then it's a good thing your cute" Tyler winked. "But I have to get back to work. See you tonight."
Tyler walked off and Alex smiled.
That night, Alex sat on the couch with Jude and Daria.
"Thanks for letting us stay" Jude said.
"Yeah" Daria said. "He better be hot. Because if your into him he better have it going on."
"Go have sex with your wife" Jude joked.
"I would if she'd let me" Daria said sadly. "But lately she's been weird. Maybe she's cheating on me."
"No way" Jude said.
There was a knock at the door and Alex rushed to the door and opened it and seen Tyler holding roses.
"These are for you" Tyler said sweetly.
Alex took them and smiled. Tyler then noticed Jude and Daria.
"Oh your friends are here" Tyler said embarrassed.
"Yeah" Alex said. "That's Jude and Daria. Taylor isn't here but don't worry you'll regret meeting her."
"She's a smartass" Daria said. "God I love her!"
Alex grabbed Tylers hand.
"Come on" Alex said. "Let's watch some TV."
Tyler sat next to Alex. He felt himself put his arm around Alex. Jude and Daria exchanged a look. Daria smirked and rolled her eyes.
"I need to get something" Jude said. "Alex help now!"
Jude jerked Alex up and pulled him into the kitchen. Jude crossed his arms.
"What are you doing?" Jude asked.
"What are you talking about?" Alex asked.
"I see the way you look at him" Jude said. "Like he's the best thing since apple pie. You just met him."
"He makes me feel something new" Alex said. "I like how I feel when I'm around him. It's like he gets me like no one else can."
"What about Noah?" Jude asked.
"Noah left me for New York" Alex said.
"He loves you" Jude said.
"So I'm supposed to wait for him?" Alex snapped. "No. Look I like Tyler but it doesn't matter he's probably not into me."
"He put his arm around you" Jude said. "He likes you. A lot. I can tell."
The next day, Alex sat on the beach and Tyler joined him.
"Thanks for calling" Tyler said.
"I had too" Alex said. "We really need to talk."
"Yeah we do" Tyler agreed.
"Look" Alex said. "I know this sounds crazy but I think I'm falling for you. And it's happening too damn fast." Tyler stares at Alex. "All this time I kept chasing after guys I knew I wasn't good enough for. They used me and abused my love for them." Tyler continues to stare. "What if this whole time? Everything I went through was just my journey to get to you? What if your the one I'm supposed to be with?"
Tyler smiled. He leaned in and softly kissed Alex. They smiled at each other.
"I'm falling for you too" Tyler smiled.
They kissed again.
Connor opened his door to see Adam.
"Dad?" Connor asked confused.
Adam pulled Connor into a hug. Connor hugged him back and broke down.
"I remember you" Adam cried. "I remember everything. Your my son. Your MY son!"
