"Have you heard back from ABSU yet?" Connor asked Alex. "I still haven't. And I'm getting a bit worried about it."
"Connor" Alex said. "It's only been two weeks. They have to review your application and all that boring stuff. Don't worry you'll get in. Your grades are amazing."
"Thanks" Connor replied. "It's so much easier to talk to you about this teaching thing than with Jude."
"Because you won't talk to him" Alex pointed out. "You've been avoiding him a lot here lately."
"I know" Connor told Alex. "It's just hard talking to him about this. He thinks I'm only going into teaching because you inspired me."
Alex smiled.
"I am pretty inspiring" Alex joked.
Connor laughed.
"Look just talk to Jude" Alex told Connor. "Make him understand this is what you want to do."
Connor nodded and walked off. Alex walked over to Jude and Noah. Noah and Alex kissed.
"So what we're you two talking about?" Jude asked. "It's like you've talked to him more than I have these last few weeks."
"You were kinda judgemental about his dream of teaching" Alex pointed out.
"No I wasn't" Jude snapped. "Look I think he's just lost. I mean teaching was never his dream before."
"Well dreams change" Alex replied. "Mine did."
"Well I'm worried about my boyfriend and his future" Jude said. "Not yours."
"Are you sure this is even about Connor?" Alex asked. "Maybe this is about you."
Alex and Noah walked off holding hands.
In class, Stacy looked at college letter from U Of L. Ethan sat down next to her.
"What's that?" Ethan asked.
"My first rejection letter" Stacy told him. "I'm good just not good enough to get into U of L."
"What about ABSU?" Ethan asked. "I mean it's a great school. Close to Anchor Beach plus Alex would be there. And so would I."
Stacy grins.
"What are you talking about?"
He pulled out a letter and handed it to her.
"Oh my god" Stacy said excitedly. "You got in?"
Ethan smiled and she kissed him and pulled him into a hug.
"I am so happy for you" Stacy said. She pulled away from the hug. "Congrats."
"You should apply too" he told Stacy. "It'd be perfect. We'd be together."
They smiled at each other.
At lunch, Jude sat with Alex, Noah, Daria and Taylor.
"Where are Stacy and Ethan?" Jude asked.
"He's helping her apply to ABSU" Alex told him. "Looks like most of our group are going to ABSU."
Jude didn't make eye contact with the others. He knew he wasn't going to go to ABSU. It wasn't his dream. AMDC was. And he wasn't giving up on it.
They then noticed Robert enter.
"Why is your dad here?" Daria asked Alex.
"I don't know" Alex said. "I'll be back." Alex walked over to Robert. "Dad what's going on?"
