Jude tried to call Alex but there was no answer.
"He still won't talk to me" Jude said. "He hates me."
"No he doesn't" Connor told Jude.
"Then tell me why he's ignoring me" Jude said. "Why hasn't he returned any of my calls? Brandon is talking to me but Alex isn't. It's like he's giving up on our friendship."
"Don't jump to conclusions" Connor told Jude. "He will call back I promise."
"You can't really promise that" Jude said.
Victoria sits in her office looking at some photos with Alex.
"What about this one?"
"I don't know" Alex replied. "To be honest it's not my best work. Maybe I should see if they want to reshoot."
"I think it's fine" Victoria said.
Her phone rung and she answered and hit speaker.
"Talk to me" Victoria said.
"Hey sweetie" Glen said. "Are we still on for lunch?"
Alex gave his mom a look and she took it off speaker.
"Today isn't good for me" Victoria said into the phone. "I have to go. Bye."
Victoria hung up.
"So you and my real father?" Alex asked.
"Nothing is going on" Victoria assured. "I'm getting too old for dating anyway."
"Come on Mom you still got it" Alex said.
"So you would be okay with it if I went on a date with Glen?" Victoria asked.
"Of course I would" Alex said. "You should spend more time with him. Especially if the spark is still there. Something must have attracted you to him years ago."
"Actually it was because he was the opposite of Max's father" Victoria said. "Glen was broke and didn't have no direction in life. But he was a kindhearted man. Now he's got a great career. Photograper."
"So that's where I got it from" Alex laughed.
"And you got your dancing from me" Victoria smiled.
Alex smiled.
"Call him" Alex said. "And I mean it."
Alex walked out and Victoria picked up the phone and dialed a number.
At the high school, Jamie stands at his locker looking upset. Ashley and Ashlyn join him.
"Why are you so totally down?" Ashley asked.
"I totally will beat someone up for you" Ashlyn said. "Unless it means I'll break a nail. I can't survive without my totally pretty nails."
"it's nothing" Jamie said. "It's just that I met Chad's parents last night and well he introduced me as his buddy. Like I don't even think he told his parents were together."
"We're totally sorry" Ashley and Ashlyn said. "We're totally here for you."
Chad and Mitch joined them.
"Where's Kenneth?" Ashley asked alarmed.
"Making out with his girlfriend" Mitch said. Mitch then leaned close to Ashlyn. "How about you and me?"
"I'm totally in!" Ashlyn said happily.
The two then passionately kissed. The other three stared awkwardly.
