Jude walks on the beach with Alex.
"Dad is making me stay with him for some dinner tonight" Alex told Jude. "His friend Baxter something is coming over and my Dad wants me to entertain his son. His son is our age."
"What's the son's name?" Jude asked Alex.
"Noah" Alex said. "I bet he's one of those rich snobs."
"You mean like you use to be?" Jude joked.
"Haha" Alex responded. "But since I have this dinner tonight I can't make it to Connor's party."
"Damn" Jude said.
"is his dad okay with him having a party?" Alex asked.
"We don't know" Jude said. "His dad is out of town."
Alex laughs.
"You should invite Stacy and Ethan" Alex said. "Their dating now."
"I am not inviting HER" Jude told Alex.
"Jude" Alex tried.
"Just because you've forgotten doesn't mean I did" Jude told Alex. "She was such a bully."
"She's a better person now" Alex said. "And besides remember how I was a bully at first? Now look at us were best friends who switch boyfriends occasionally."
Jude rolls his eyes laughing.
"God you sound like Mariana" Jude said. "Every time I talk to her she makes jokes about how you and me have shared most of the guys we dated."
"I love your sister" Alex said.
"Well our sister" Jude said. "Callie the one we share told me she's loving Florida so far."
"I should have went" Alex said. "I could have met some hotties."
"Alex" Jude said. "Look at this beach it's swarming with hot guys." Then Jude pointed at Daria and Taylor. "And them."
Daria and Taylor rushed to them.
"This is the best summer ever guys" Daria said. "Me and Taylor have had sex in 13 places already on this very beach."
"That's just counting the beach" Taylor commented.
Taylor then pointed.
"Look Alex" Taylor said. "Speaking of sex Jake is headed this way."
"Come on" Daria told Taylor. "Let's make it 14!"
The two rushed off and Jake joined Alex and Jude.
"Hey Als" Jake greeted.
"Hey" Alex replied blushing. "How's your summer going so far?"
"Better now that I get to see you" Jake flirted.
Jude felt a little awkward.
"Will I see you at the party tonight?" Jake asked Alex.
"No" Alex said. "I have this dinner with my Dad. But I wish I was going."
"Maybe we can hang out soon" Jake suggested.
"Yeah" Alex smiled. "I'll let you know."
"Cool" Jake said. "Talk later."
Jake walked off and Jude gave Alex a look.
"What?" Alex asked.
"You still love him" Jude said. "Why aren't you with him yet?"
"Well I'm not ready to date" Alex told Jude. "Besides he might just break my heart again."
"Alex" Jude responded. "He's been following you around like a lost little puppy for months. I think it's safe to say he's in love with you."
