Alex paces back and forth in the hospital. He bites his finger nail.
"Where is James at?" Alex asked. "I mean his son is in the hospital."
"Alex I know my brother he's fine" Chris said. "He's gotten through worse things than this."
"He got hit by a car" Kayla snapped. "He could die."
Alex looked worried. Janet looked scared.
"Kayla babe calm down" Kayla's fiance Bo said soothingly. "He'll be fine."
Ginny grabbed Chris' hand. He squeezed.
They then noticed the doctor walk to them. They all jumped worried.
"How is he doctor?" Janet asked immediately.
"He's fine" the doctor said. "But his leg. It's messed up really bad. He's going to need to use medication. But he told me he wants to get through it without medication."
"Yeah he is a drug addict" Janet said.
"If he doesn't use the medication it'll just be harder on him" the doctor said. "It's what he needs."
Daria ate lunch with Leo.
"Have you even talked to her?" Leo asked.
"Nope" Daria said. "I don't have the patience to deal with her."
"It was one kiss how bad could it be?" Leo asked.
"I'm not mad about the kiss" Daria said. "I'm mad that she opened up to this random girl and not me. I'm her wife not Stephanie."
"Actually her name is Shelly" Leo corrected.
"Who cares" Daria snapped. "She better learn to keep her lips to herself."
Connor and Peter sit in the bar drinking beer.
"He still hasn't called back?" Peter asked.
"He's still in New York" Connor replied. "I guess it's really over."
"Here's an idea genius go to New York" Peter said. "Go confess your pathetic love and get back together."
"Whatever" Connor said rolling his eyes.
"Who is she?"Peter asked.
Connor looked to see Ava and he rolled his eyes.
"That's Ava" Connor said. "She's the new English teacher. She's a major pain in the ass."
"She's hot" Peter said.
Connor rolled his eyes.
"I'll be right back" Peter said.
Peter got up and walked to Ava.
"Hello" he greeted. "I'm Peter. I'm Connor's cousin."
"Oh you poor thing" Ava said. "I'm sorry."
Peter looked confused.
"I'm kidding" Ava said. "I'm Ava."
Peter smiled at Ava.
"So do you like Anchor Beach so far?" Peter asked.
"Not really" Ava said. "But maybe you can make it interesting."
Peter smiled at Ava.
"I'd be glad too" Peter flirted.
Chris and Bo help Tyler onto the couch.
"You good?"
"Yeah this is fine" Tyler said.
