Jude sat in the park with Alex. Jude was holding Mason.
"God I have the cutest baby ever" Jude smiled at Mason. "Yes I do. Your the cutest baby in the world. Oh yes you are!"
Alex giggled.
"So you love parenting?" Alex asked. "Because you look like crap."
"It's just Connor is busy with work all the time" Jude said. "I was the one willing to quit my job and be the parent who stays at home. But I just didn't expect him to be so busy."
Alex nodded.
"it'll get better" Alex promised.
"So what about the drama between your mom and James?" Jude asked.
"The trial started today" Alex said. "I couldn't go. Me and Tyler aren't choosing sides. We promised each other we wouldn't."
Jude nodded.
"I'm sure you two will make it" Jude replied. "You love each other."
Alex nodded feeling worried he'd lose Tyler.
"Janet doesn't know" Alex said. Jude looked confused. "She's Tyler's mom and James' wife."
Jude nodded.
"She invited me to dinner" Alex told Jude. "So we all have to pretend that we don't know."
Jude nodded.
That night, Connor entered the apartment to see Jude sitting on the couch exhausted.
"Where's Mason?" Connor asked.
"Asleep" Jude said. "it took me forever to get him to sleep."
Connor sat down.
"I'm so exhausted from work" Connor said. Jude gave him a look. "What?"
"I'm the one taking care of OUR son all day" Jude snapped. "It'd be nice if you'd actually help."
Jude jumped up and stormed into the bedroom.
"Where's your father?!" Janet asked dramatically entering the living room.
Alex, Tyler, Chris and Kayla stared at Janet. Then James entered.
"What's going on?" James asked.
"When were you going to tell me?" Janet asked. "How could you do this to our family? You broke the law!!"
James rolled his eyes. James then looked at them.
"I'm so sick of Victoria thinking she has leverage over our family!" James snapped.
"She didn't do anything wrong" Alex told James.
"Please" James snapped. "She's the one trying to screw me over! And your just like her!"
Kayla and Chris gave Alex a hateful look. He looked hurt by the looks. He looked at Tyler to defend him but Tyler didn't say anything. Alex shook his head.
"I wanted to get that bitch away from my company!" James shouted.
Alex was tired of it.
"You can't blame her for this!" Alex snapped.
"Alex stop getting involved.." Tyler tried.
"NO!" Alex snapped. "James my mother put her money into this company. She helped you build this company! And what does she get in return? You steal from her and try to ruin her name and you tried to con me!"
"Oh shut up" James snapped. "We know your going to take her side!"
"Yeah we can't trust you!" Kayla snapped.
"Stop it!" Janet screamed and they all quit fighting. "I don't care about Victoria damn it! I care about you ruining this family, James!"
Janet then stormed out and James ran after her. All eyes landed on Alex. He looked at Tyler.
"Don't worry" Alex told Tyler. "I know your too scared to stick up for me."
Alex rolled his eyes and stomped out of the house.
Connor entered the bedroom to see Jude laying down. He laid next to Jude.
"Are you mad at me?" Connor asked.
"This is just really hard" Jude told Connor. "And you work all the time. I love Mason but it's just so hard sometimes."
"How about I make you a deal?" Connor asked. "This weekend how about you go stay with Alex? You can relax and I'll take care of Mason."
"Are you sure?" Jude asked.
"Yes" Connor said. "I think it'd be good for both of us. You get a break and I get quality time with the baby."
Jude smiled and they shared a passionate kiss.
Tyler enters his apartment to see Alex on the couch. Alex stands up.
"Here you are" Tyler said. "I was worried."
"Yeah" Alex said. "You know your a horrible boyfriend. I mean what the hell was that? You didn't even stick up for me!"
"Their my family!" Tyler snapped.
"And I'm your boyfriend" Alex snapped. "And it's like I don't even matter anymore. I can't believe it you said we wouldn't take sides and look you took theirs."
"Yeah and you took your mom's right from the start!" Tyler snapped.
"Because I HAD too!" Alex snapped. Tears then went down Alex's face. "You just don't understand. And no matter what I try to say or try to do. You'll choose them. Every time. And you know what? I will always choose my Mom over you. She's not the world's greatest mother like yours but she sure as hell loves me for me! Unlike your father."
Tyler stared at Alex clearly angry at Alex.
"I'm done, Tyler" Alex said.
"What are you saying?" Tyler asked.
"I'm so sick of fighting with you over our families" Alex said. "You and me can't work. We were fools for thinking we could. So you and me it's over."
Alex stormed out leaving a heart broken Tyler behind.
Victoria heard knocking on her door and got out of bed and rushed to the door and opened it to see an emotional Alex.
"Alex what happened?" Victoria asked.
"Tyler and me broke up" Alex broke down. "It's ...over.."
Victoria pulled Alex into a comforting hug and he broke down on her shoulder.
Alex and Tyler were over.
