Rainbow Rocks is finally here after so long! This one will start from when we see Twilight getting Sunset Shimmer's message in the journal since Malibu isn't in the first part of the film.

....

It was finally a time of peace for the citizens of Equestria. The newly formed castle of Princess Twilight, now the Princess of Friendship, stood there at the edge of Ponyville, glistening in the sunlight.

Inside in the throne room, the Mane 7 and Spike were having their first relaxation after so long. Malibu lounged on his chair, reading a Daring Do book with Rainbow Dash.

Pinkie Pie was blowing up a balloon while Rarity did her usual sewing. That was when the doors to the room opened, showing a delivery pony.

"Excuse me, Princess and Prince. Where do you want all these books from Princess Celestia?" He asked.

Malibu's ears perked when looking over to him as Twilight grinned, pointing. "The library. Third door on the left." She said confidently.

The delivery pony raised his brow. "Even this one that's glowin' and vibrating?" He glanced at one book in particular with Celestia's cutie mark that really was glowing.

Everypony there stared in surprise at this, Twilight levitating the book over to herself, flipping through the pages, then her eyes widened.

"Twi? What is it?" Malibu asked in concern while Twilight read in the diary.

"It-It looks like a message to Princess Celestia from my friends at Canterlot High." She revealed, making everypony in the room gasp aloud in surprise, especially Malibu, who had almost forgotten about their friends through that special mirror. Cadance had allowed them to watch over the portal mirror by placing it Twilight's new castle.

Rarity's eyes were round. "How is that even possible?"

The mulberry alicorn didn't really know. "I have no idea but it... sounds like they need my help. The message was from Sunset Shimmer."

Malibu flinched from the name, remembering the name of that horrible former student of his mother who had nearly sexually assaulted him while they tried stopping her from stealing Twilight's crown. His eyes narrowed. "Why would she even want to write to us? We were the ones who foiled her evil plan." He growled, tail swishing.

Twilight raised her brow at him. "Our mirror friends had been looking after Sunset if you remember. And it seems that she had been fitting in well with them, if you're willing to give her a chance."

Malibu grumbled under his breath, Fluttershy watching him in small fear. "As long as she doesn't try kissing me again, I... suppose."

Rainbow Dash blinked. "Wait, she WHAT?!" She yelped, grabbing her coltfriend's face, Malibu wincing, looking shamed. "Yeah. She tried cornering me and, you know." He muttered, face flushing red, Dash's eyes really big, giving Malibu another gentle hug to steady him.

Twilight then pulled out another book from the library shelf, placing it on the table. "The way Sunset Shimmer described them, I think these new girls sound an awful lot like... the sirens." She stated. Malibu couldn't help the swallow in his throat, remembering how his mom once told him about those demon creatures.

"Not the SIRENS!" Pinkie Pie squealed, before leaning to Fluttershy. "I don't actually know what that is!" She said softly, Malibu rolling his eyes while gesturing to Twilight to continue.

She read further, showing a display of three of them; one orange, the other purple, and the third aqua blue. "The sirens were three beautiful but dangerous creatures, who had the power to charm ponies with their music. But to maintain this power; they had to feed on the negativity and distrust of others. The more of this negative energy they consumed, the stronger their voices became, and the farther they could spread their dark magic." She read aloud.
