Map Lessons: Cutie Map Part 1

S5 is now finally beginning everypony! Cutie map part 2 and Castle Sweet Castle is next!

It was now a new dawn in Equestria since the defeat of Tirek, Twilight's new castle shimmering in the early morning light of Celestia's sun. The Mane 7 walked into the throne room of the castle together, Spike already snoozing in his little throne next to Twilight's, Malibu settling into his own which had his red cross cutie mark on it, the rest of the Mane 7 doing the same.

Twilight paced in the middle of the floor. "Let's go through this one more time." She said, making Rainbow Dash groan, face palming after sitting in her throne.

"Ugh, we've been over it like a million times, Twilight! We found all 7 keys, defeated Tirek, and got this sweet castle! End of story!"

Malibu though had a face just as confused. "Yeah, but I'm with Twilight. Why do we have this castle? What is even the point of it?" He muttered, staring around at the crystalline walls.

Applejack shrugged, Sitting on her throne. "I dunno, sugar cube. Maybe it's just your new house and there ain't nothin' more to it than that." She proclaimed.

Fluttershy as usual had her timid smile while sitting down onto her throne almost nervously. "I agree with Twilight and Malibu. And Rarity. And Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie PIe. Oh, and probably Spike."

Malibu looked towards his baby dragon adoptive brother snoring in his mini chair with a little chuckle. He is always napping.

Twilight continued her pacing. "As princess, I've been chosen to spread the magic of friendship across Equestria. So why would the Tree of Harmony want us to sit in a castle in Ponyville? It doesn't make any sense!"

Once she was sitting in her throne, something happened. Malibu noticed first as the cutie mark symbols on the thrones began to light up. "Er, guys?" He asked, pointing with his hoof.

The others stared in surprise as something began to grow from the floor with another bright flash; revealing a large round table in the middle of the throne circle, that had a holographic styled map on it. Everypony was speechless for a while at the sight.

Spike yawned, rubbing his eyes, which soon popped when he saw the table too. "Is that new? I like it!" He said with a grin, unbothered by the jaw dropped expressions of the Mane 7. He climbed up onto the map, looking around at it in awe. "This is incredible! It's got all of Equestria!"

Pinkie Pie got over her shock to see her home, the rock farm on it. "Hi, mom and dad!" She greeted until Spike's foot stepped onto the house, making her eyes water.

Malibu sighed, using his alicorn magic to lift Spike off the table. "Probably shouldn't walk on it." He muttered quietly to him. But then he felt his cutie mark on his flank begin flashing now, looking down at it in confusion in his eyes. It was happening with his friends too as their cutie marks as light symbols floated into the air, then went over to a remote looking area.

Fluttershy stared at the area. "But if this is Ponyville, why are our cutie marks over there?"

Twilight tapped her chin. "I don't know. But it seems like the map wants us to find out. The Tree, the chest, this castle, and now the map. How can we not follow it?"

Rainbow Dash flew above the map. "Y'know what? There's a ton of room for dangerous adventure along that route! Count me in!" Malibu smiled, still liking that even after the whole Tirek ordeal, his mare friend still craved adventure.

Applejack shrugged casually. "Aw shoot, I reckon you're right."

"Well, I was planning on organizing my baking sheets, but ok!" Pinkie Pie squealed, her eyes excited.
