Hey! How are you all doing?
I'm sorry this is a tad bit later than I usually update at night but I've been rushing to finish this chapter in time. So this AN will be brief and the chapter is not edited, go easy on me.
Anyway, I haven't had reliable wifi for the past week so I'm sorry for those of you that I haven't responded PMs to. I'll get to that either tonight or tomorrow.
Chapter is dedicated to musicalmelody123, because they are the lovely creator of Coal's dearest sister, Charlotte. So read on with that knowledge, because Charlotte is pretty cool, if I do say so myself. She'll get more time in the next chapter, this one was just the tiniest bit rushed.
I love all you guys, you can talk to me whenever, thank you for everything, I love you again, okay bye and enjoy the [LONG, are you proud of me?] chapter.

You have to be kidding me.
"She's my what?" I ask, turning to Abram.
His face is just as stricken as I'm feeling. "Your twin. She is your twin sister."
This isn't a joke.
Wait, yes it is. My entire life is a joke, except I'm not laughing.
I've managed to keep my face straight. It's a talent, considering that I've experienced every single emotion known to the human race in the past thirty seconds.
"Well." The word is curbed; I weigh it carefully, deciding on my next ones. "I guess it's time for a family reunion."
I'm past Jensen and Abram and out the door before anyone can say anything. My footsteps are quick and angry on the worn wood of the orphanage. My orphanage. We shouldn't have come here, we're just causing trouble.
"Coal!"
For the first time in a while, I ignore her.
"COAL."
Her hand is on my shoulder now, yanking me back. I spin, voice already snarling.
"If you can run off to try and kill yourself I can at least go find my sister."
There's a storm in her eyes. She drops her hand from my shoulder, advancing to push me back against the wall.
"Maybe I haven't made the best decisions," she says. She sounds soft, but that's just to cover the anger in her voice. "But I am the leader of this team, whether you like it to not. And that means you listen to me. Is that clear?"
"I'm going to find her and -"
"Stop." Tide interrupts me, managing to make one word sound a cavalry ready to shoot at my chest. "You are going to listen to me. She is wanted and people recognize her face. Finding her isn't the hard part, it's staying hidden."
"You can't stop me-"
She gives me such a murderous glare that I decide it's a good idea to shut up.
"As I was saying. I will not allow you to go in there with some half ass plan of yours to get you and your sister killed in three minutes. I'm coming with you. We leave in ten. Be ready or be left behind."
She steps back and walks off, instructing people where to go and what to do.
God, I love her.
"Hey, Heart-Eyes," Jensen calls, siding to my left. "How goes?"
"You're really going to ask that?" I rub my palms over my eyes, sliding down the wall.
Jensen laughs, looking down. "Well, you keep a poker face, it's hard to tell."
