Hello, my charming readers! How are you all?

I have some very exciting news, and it involves UPDATE INFORMATION and MONEY so LISTEN UP my dudes.

Inkitt, an online publishing site, has offered me an opportunity to be a part of their Reader Royalties Program!!

It works like so: I upload The Elementals and Ignite onto my account on Inkitt and post BRAND NEW STUFF THE LIKES OF WHICH YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN.

Then you― you fantastic, beautiful creatures you― click on this very special EXTERNAL LINK that's at the BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

(when you click on it, it will look like this: https://inkitt.app.link/RA_silversnowleopard)

―and then you will be brought to a page to download the Inkitt app, where you can read the new chapter, and the newest chapters after that as I continue updating.

(if that link doesn't work, it's also in my Wattpad bio.)

I realize this could be frustrating. Why go to another account on another app just to hear Snow ramble?

Fear not. I can't help the rambling, but one, you will be introduced (if you haven't been already) to the lovely world of Inkitt! It is completely FREE with NO ADVERTS, and it's a hella great site that gives tons of support to aspiring authors like you and me. They have a great staff that interact personally with readers and authors, and they offer great opportunities like this reader royalties program.

Two: you will be able to gain access to word stuff from my brain two weeks before I post it here on Wattpad. At the present moment, this includes a ~surprise bonus chapter~ to The Elementals and the next chapter of Ignite, in which the plot thickens, a battle plan is made, and there is dancing and the usual Tide Commentary.

And THREE: I get paid. Not to be selfish, but I like money, and for every person that clicks that link of mine, I get twenty whole cents. It's like patreon, but you don't actually have to pay me anything. You just click, and what happens next will shock you.

The Elementals has upwards of one million views; Ignite has over five hundred thousand. I thank all of you every day for that. Your reads and votes and comments are what got me this royalties offer. The last chapter of Ignite has 2k reads. 2000 x .20 = 400. For all of you brilliant people who have come back and stuck with me and supported me through this all, if all of you click that link and read my story there, I could get four hundred dollars, which would go a long way to paying for my college fund so that I can get a degree and keep writing.

That's extremely optimistic, of course, and I do not expect instant success or even participation from you. I will keep updating here on Wattpad, around two weeks after I post on Inkitt, and I will still be alive on this website. I'm not going to withhold this story from you, because you all have been such a big part of it. But I would appreciate you to the next galaxy and back if you would help support me in this way.

I wanted to notify you personally (or as personally as I can get on here), rather than just giving a teaser and a link, because you all mean a lot to me and I don't want to be a walking advertisement for myself. You are my readers. I am your author. Posting online gives me the unique experience of being able to interact with you as a whole and individually, and it's an experience that's helped me develop as a writer.

So, just a quick recap:

- Ignite's newest chapter as well as a bonus chapter to The Elementals is UP ON INKITT

- go down to the bottom of this page and click the external link, or find the link in my bio to reach it

- enjoy the chapter, and hopefully stick around for the next ones!

Thank you for listening, if you have any questions I am right here (I'm working on not ghosting every week), and have a lovely existence!

* in regards to the newest chapter and the changing ratings, because Inkitt isn't big on author's notes:

Obviously time has passed as I've written The Elementals and Ignite, and I've been getting older and learning stuff and growing, and my characters have been growing along with me. I've had these guys in my head since I was seven, and them maturing with me is one of the most important aspects of me writing their stories. This growing is especially true with Tide and Coal. Their relationship has evolved with each new thing I learn and experience (good and bad), in terms of what is healthy and unhealthy, and what other kids in my orbit have done. Which brings me to my point: Tide and Coal have been together for about a year and a half in book time, around three years in real time. Things escalated as they grew up and became more comfortable with each other, and as I became more comfortable with the idea of physical relationships and the things they entail. I found myself testing limits, skirting around topics and getting reeeeeal close to them but never actually going through. I'm working on it.

Healthy relationships are based on communication, respect, and support. Clearly, no one has a perfect relationship, especially if you live on the run with the apocalypse upon you. But that doesn't mean communication is any less important (it probably makes it even more essential).

So as the story progresses, this chapter and on, I'm going to try and address the changing, maturing aspects of Tide and Coal's relationship. Have no fear, I won't (repeat: WILL NOT) be adding any graphic sex scenes or swears or vocabulary that would make this book R or whatever. They're sixteen and minors so obviously not, but also because I know a lot of my audience is on the younger side and listen, I know you're mature and can handle it, but that doesn't mean you should. And, honestly? I don't think I'm actually capable of writing with any level of accuracy, so I'll save you from that cringe-worthy read. However, I do think establishing and showing how Tide and Coal have grown into this experience with each other and learned to communicate is extremely important, a lot for me and hopefully for you all reading.

Without spoiling anything, I'd like to warn you guys that there are "do we do it or not do it" type thoughts and conversations entering the playing field here. I might just be acting dramatic and making this a much bigger deal than it is, but I really don't want to smack anyone in the face with something they don't want to read. It's not polite. I'll warn you and then smack you. Common smacking courtesy.

That's all friends, and again, if you have any questions I am right here! Sitting at my computer! Doing nothing! So you're not bothering me at all.
