OKAY CAN Y'ALL READ THIS A/N THANKS
Okay, first of all, how are you guys?
Second, a lot of people can't see chapter 49, and I'd like to explain what happened. So I was posting it, la dee da, and then it says that the story is private. So I unpublish the chapter and republish it, doesn't work. So I look up how to change it on the bountiful interwebs, and then I unpublish it again and try to change the viewer settings or whatever. Still doesn't work. So I delete it and republish and do this over and over again with various amounts of swearing, but it. won't. frickin. work. But now there are lots of lovely comments and votes on it so I don't want to delete it or whatever, so I'll see what I can do, but according to the lovely @Steph_A, you have to follow me, archive the story, and then bring it back. I'm very sorry for the confusion, wattpad and I have an interesting relationship now and then.
(tbh you didn't miss all that much it was just fluff then arguing then fluff then some drama then some fluff and then a cliffish hanger thing) (pretty much what's been going on for the past seventy chapters because I honestly can't write anything else) (sorry my children, things will be getting interesting once I figure out how to plot)
(Also I wanna repeatedly slam my head against the wall I MADE TOO MANY CHARACTERS I NEED TO KILL SOME AH)
Anyway, chapter is dedicated to the aforementioned Steph_A, because they were kind enough to help when they could have just watched other people mill about in confusion over the lost chapter. Basically, they did what I should have done for me, which is responsible and nice, so dedication!
That's it, hope this one works out (if it doesn't I'm actually going to scream so loud you might be able to hear it from where ever you are), and I hope you enjoy! (sorry, it's short, I did try though)

Owen stares at the door, sick expression on his face. Bear sidles up next to his leg, tilting her head into his touch as he rubs behind her ears.
He takes a breath, squares his shoulders, and opens the door.
Three people are standing there, one man two women, their postures in various levels of impatience.
The man in front has his hand raised to knock a third time. He's dressed in relatively casual clothes, a vest and khakis, but the precise way his light brown hair is brushed, the clean, roundness to his face suggests his attire was carefully selected.
They all have rounded features, warm brown eyes without bags or creases and styled, light brown hair. They seem like the angelic versions of Owen, with his angular jaw, tousled, dark ash colored hair, and striking green eyes with circles underneath from sleepless nights. He has a worn face, a dark face, but some of those lines are from smiling. His siblings don't have those.
The girl in back, the taller, slender one with the beautiful face leans out from behind the other two. "What are you wearing?" she asks Owen.
Wow. Judge your dead brother's fashion choices, way to show the love.
Owen's shoulders drop as he hugs his arms around his chest. His head is bowed, refusing to use his full height. His voice is curt. "Hey, CeCe."
CeCe wrinkles her nose at the sky where clouds are forming, promising rain. "Are you going to invite us in or not?"
I resist the urge to reach out and slam the door in their faces. Owen steps out of the way.
"What happened to you?" the man asks as he walked in, flicking Owen's chest. "You used to be a shrimp, O-y."
