Quirk: Cursed Body

I actually thought of this quirk in quite a random way. 😂

I first thought of the Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) song called: Afronova.

This song has a great rhythm, tempo and gives tribal/shaman vibes. Also, the song illustration image is also very tribal looking.

So I focused on the song and wanted to make a quirk that gave out that vibe.

Then I remembered reading a comic (I can't remember it's name and was probably fan made too) that had a sort of ugly grotesque monster that had all kinds of weapons embedded into it from others that had previously tried and failed to kill it. The weapons gained a curse and whoever used them would become very powerful but eventually lose their minds to the powerful curses.

And this plus the song Afronova; somehow in my brain all this crap mixed together and I got the idea for the Cursed Body quirk.

Random as hell? Yep. 🤷‍♀️ But I loved it! ❤️

Quirk: Cursed Body

Type: Emitter / Mutant Hybrid

Description:

Cursed Body allows the user to generate and manifest cursed swords directly from their own body, emerging from specific marked points across their flesh.

From birth, the user’s body developed numerous distinct markings across their skin at the locations where cursed swords can manifest. These markings resemble tribal curse tattoos permanently etched into the user’s flesh.

The markings are distributed across the user’s entire body—including the face, arms, shoulders, chest, back, abdomen, legs, and even smaller areas such as the hands and feet. Each marking functions as a “manifestation point” from which cursed blades can emerge.

Because these markings remain visible even when the Quirk is inactive, the user naturally possesses an eerie and unsettling appearance that often causes others to feel intimidated or uncomfortable around them.

Natural Mutations/ Passive traits:

The user's physiology is fundamentally altered to support the quirk.

Their body possesses:

Extreme flexibility, allowing them to naturally contort their body and swords to protrude from odd unexpected angles.

Enhanced agility allows the user to wield cursed swords swiftly and with training this becomes more refined.

Strengthened body constitution and natural accelerated regeneration designed to withstand the stress of generating weapons from their own body.

Core Abilities:

Cursed Sword Generation

The user can generate blades from any marked location on their body, allowing multiple swords to erupt from dozens of points simultaneously.

These swords are composed of the user's flesh, bones, and blood, yet due to the user’s regenerative physiology they can continuously regenerate the material required to create them.
