These are some random quirk ideas that you can use in your writing or to spark your own version!
I may include the occasional one shot ideas too.
Also if anyone uses the quirks or oneshot ideas to write something, then PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ULTRA...
I actually came up with this quirk because I thought about a movie I watched when I was little called Ferngully: The Last Rainforest. The antagonist is a being called Hexxus. And he can change his physical states (such as initially being a sorta slime, then being a gaseous somewhat humanoid form, etc).
Hexxus steadily became stronger the more toxic things and contaminants he consumes.
Hence, the quirk Noxious gets stronger the more the user is exposed to toxic substances or contaminants.

This is Hexxus, photos not mine.

Granted, I've expanded the Noxious quirk beyond what Hexxus is able to do.
Still he is the inspiration for this quirk so I need to mention him.
Hexxus and his VA is absolutely fantastic! To this day I still hear Hexxus's song.
I also just had to include a video of Hexxus's song. Not only is the voice fabulous (Tim Curry really outdid himself) but you can actually see a little bit of Hexxus changing states as he absorbs more toxins. Though the changes are quick, but those little transformations is what actually got this quirk into my head as well as the transformation states of the quirk. And the phrase Noxious muck is what solidified this quirk's name as Noxious! 😁
This song lives in my head to this day. Tim Curry is fantastic!!
Quirk: Noxious
Type: Emitter / Transformation
Description:
Noxious allows the user to become a living toxic hazard—every aspect of their body (skin, blood, breath, saliva, tears, sweat, even their scent) can turn poisonous, corrosive, or flammable depending on how they shape the toxins within. They can generate and manipulate a wide range of chemical states: gaseous clouds, acidic liquids, combustible vapors, corrosive gels, or even toxic solids.
