I actually got this quirk idea from the song: Carnival by John Michael Howell.
The lyrics to the song:

These lyrics made me want ro develop a psychological quirk with this kind of theme like a twisted ring leader of sorts.
Hence the quirk name: Carn (for Carnival)+ evil = Carnevil
Moreover I wanted the quirk to be more than just a simple illusion type. Especially after the lyrics:

This leans into the psychological aspect and also the amnesic ability of the quirk because "you're going to have such a lovely time" but you won't remember so "not a single lesson learned. " So, let the games begin!.
Needless to say, loved making this quirk and even created an Oc out of it too.

1) Marionette Facial Markings:
From birth, the user possesses two distinct, symmetrical vertical lines extending from the corners of the lower lip straight down to the edge of the jawline. These markings are a deep, pitch-black biological pigmentation that looks as though solid dark ink was flawlessly painted onto the skin. Replicating the stark, hollow divisions of a wooden puppet's segmented jaw. This strips away the user's natural facial soft lines creating a stark, mechanical, and deeply eerie doll-like appearance.
2) Hallucinogen Immunity:
The user is immune to their own gas and its aftereffects.
3) Innate Mental Fortitude:
The user possesses strong resistance to illusions and psychological interference due to constant exposure to their own quirk.
