This is another random ass quirk I thought about. My ADHD  brain thought it would be very interesting to combine eels and ghosts somehow. And then this ability came to mind. The only ghost aspect is the phasing really. Very random but I was amused!

Also the thought of creating small ghost like eels sounds really cute for some weird reason...🤔😅 Well, anyways, here ya go! 😁

Quirk: Phantom Eels

Type: Emitter / Mutant Hybrid – Transformation

Description:

Phantom Eels grants the user mastery over molecular-phase electricity, allowing them to generate ghostly electric eels that phase through matter, stun or kill targets, and disrupt technology.

The quirk excels in water, stealth, sensory detection, and high-damage phasing attacks, while maintaining strong versatility on land through electrical absorption, EMPs, and electrified physical combat.

Passive Traits (Mutations)

Enhanced Sensory Abilities (Electroreception)

User detects:

- electrical signals of all living organisms

active electronics.

- movements through electric distortion

concealed or invisible targets

- everything in total darkness or murky water

Essentially this gives the user “electric radar vision.”

Physical mutations: (activated at will)

- Gills

Underwater breathing indefinitely.

- Enhanced Skin

Smooth, slippery, cut-resistant, low-friction.

Difficult to grab or restrain.

- Webbed Hands/Feet

Fast, agile swimming.

-  Night Vision

Enhanced underwater or dark-environment visibility.

- Enhanced Smell

Tracks enemies or faint scents over long distances.


Quirk Abilities

1. Ghost Eels – Primary Emitter Ability

Spectral electric eels under complete user control.

Properties:

Phase through air, water, and solid matter.

Ignore insulation (rubber, plastic) since they bypass materials molecularly.

Unblockable unless the target uses energetic constructs, molecular barriers, or equal/higher-level energy quirks.

Output ranges from mild taser shock → heart-stopping voltage.

Limitations:

High-level energy quirks, electrical disruption, or continuous energy counterpressure.

2. Electromagnetic Wave Manipulation (EMP)

Generates EMP pulses that disable:

- electronics

- communication

- targeting systems

- cybernetic-enhanced equipment
