It had been a few weeks since I had been Luna of the Night Shadow Pack, and everybody had welcomed me with open arms.
Exept the girls that Aiden had, relationships with.
I clenched my jaw, my jelousy returning.
Since Aiden could read my thoughts and my emotions, he hugged me, whispering," You, only you."
It calmed me down, always did.
Plus, too many emotions would harm the baby, and we didn't need the stress anyways.
Today was one of the most important days of our lives, the first ultrasound of our first baby.
In the car, Aiden was humming to himself, while I looked out the window, the thick, lush forests whizzing past us.
In no time at all, we had reached a small office.
It belonged to Dr. Sam Jacobs, who was a good friend of Aiden's.
Aiden grabbed my hand, leading the way for us, and I followed behind nervously.
A friendly receptionist greeted us, bowing when we approached.
"Alpha, Luna."
My eyebrows rose, this was in our territory, so they where werewolves.
She led us to the back room, the walls painted a beige color.
"The doctor will be right in." she said, bowing before she left, closing the door softly.
I looked over at Aiden, then jumped up on the examining table.
He stood in between my legs, which where hanging limply off the table.
His nose trailed my neck, and he groaned at my scent.
He slowly kissed my mark, watching my reaction, which was shivers down my spine.
I pulled him to me, my mouth on his.
He kissed me with fire and passion, but at the same time love filled his touch.
Then a voice sounded through the room.
"Sam is at the door, Sam is hoping that his best friend and mate have there clothes on, Sam is hoping that at least Aiden has his clothes on, his mate doesn't have to though."
I stifled a laugh, and Aiden muttered something I didn't quite catch.
"Come in!" I yelled out.
The door opened, and a very attractive man walked in.
As in damn, he was fine, but Aiden was hotter.
He walked in with a goofy smile at me, and Aiden and Sam did the man bro hug thing.
"Are you a model?" I blurted out.
Aiden glared at me, but Sam threw his head back and laughed.
"No, but I might, now that you have told me about it." he answered.
I blushed and looked away.
I glanced at Aiden, my eyes held guilt.
He shrugged and looked away, and I knew he was hurt.
I sighed, and made a mental note to apoligize later.
Sam pulled up a machine, and glanced at me, asking permission.
I nodded, and he peeled back my shirt, baring my belly.
Aiden growled at that, and I took my hand in his, which he snatched away, clenching them.
Sam rubbed some clear and cold goo on my belly, and hooked up the ultrasound machine, turning it on.
With that, he put the small stick shaped figure on my stomach.
The moniter went dark, right before a small, yet steady heartbeat filled the room.
My eyes welled up with tears, and Aiden took my hand, squeezing it.
I kissed his lips, before returning my gaze back on the screen.
"Congratulations, its a healthy baby!" Sam said.
"Can we know the gender?" I asked.
He shook his head, signiling no.
"Its too early for that."
I nodded an okay.
"Hmmm... that's weird." he muttered.
My heart dropped in my chest, Aidens hold clenching.
Sam cleared his throat, his eyes held grief and sorrow.
"I'm sorry but..."

The shortness and cliffhanger was on purpose..
So what do you think is wrong with the baby?! Anything you want to tell me, hate on the cliffhanger is acceptable now.
