It's a bit of a cloudy day but the sun still shines through. Some trees are adorned in their ever green leaves while others are starting to turn orange at the tip, the sign of a new season beginning soon. The weather is warm as the sun continues to rise in the sky. A few Flickys land in their nest to feed their young.

Sitting on the park bench is the royal princess. Her shoulders slump some and an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach as she watches her once fiance walk away. Another sigh leaves her. Not soon after a mechanical hand rubs her back.

"Sal?" Bunnie asks, confused at the situation. There was no detail as to why the wedding had been called off, but her heart goes out for her friend and to Kahn. He was such a good guy. "Ya gon'a be okay, girly?"

Sally lowers her head and covers her face with her hands, sighing. Is it bad that she's not even crying? That she lost her love- 'Was I ever in love with Ken?'

Amy's lips downturn in a frown, sad for the chipmunk. She wasn't expecting a breakup between the two. No one was, so for Kahn to say his farewells and just stare at Sally for a moment before walking off, it's heartbreaking. He looked so devastated, so... hurt.

Tangle and Whisper both sit on swings, ears folded down some as they watch the princess. The lemur wants to say something in hopes to cheer Sally up but Whisper merely shakes her head. Whatever is going on, it's not their place to interfere. Nothing can be said to heal a heartbreak so quickly. However, they will be there for the princess when she needs to cry though.

Blaze walks back to the group of ladies, just having said goodbye to the monkey king. She had found him intriguing and they had both exchanged some of their customs. He was more regal, like herself, so it was a bit of a refresher to know that at least one of Sonic's friends in this dimension had that- gold eyes blink as she sees the saddened state of the other ladies. "Is everything alright?"

Amy lets out a small, sad smile as she softly shakes her head. "Not really."

A purple ear flickers to the side before Blaze looks over the girls once more. "I'm not sure of the circumstances, but please let me know if I can help."

Sally finally sits up and lowers her arms. Another deep breath is taken before she slowly releases it. None of her friends even know the reason behind this but should she tell them? Tell them the reason the wedding is off, the reason Ken left her, the reason he has a broken heart is because she's still in love with Sonic? How would they take that? Would they be understanding? Compassionate? It's... it's not a bad thing that her heart still yearns for her first love despite their break up, is it?

"Sally?" Bunnie asks once more.

"Ken and I..." Sally starts, her hands find their way to her lap. "We are no longer getting married. He's going back home where he should be. Not here."

Amy's shoulders slump as she turns her full attention towards the chipmunk. "But... the wedding? You guys aren't getting married?"

"Why not-ow." Tangle rubs her arm where Whisper had pinched her hard. She frowns a little but understands she almost crossed a line. If the princess wants to explain what happened, then she will.
