I wrote this story some time ago and did nothing with it but then I came across this site and finally thought it was time to do something with it.

This is a story of a world maybe not far in our future where corporations have taken over and all governments are destroyed, can one corporations weapon stand up with only her maker and three army officers and stop the creation of a world where only one corporation rules all.

L - Lyndon Prologue

There was a rapping knock at the door to the little office

"come in" the voice was stern yet calm, so the thin man in white lab coat and silver framed glasses pushed open the heavy dark stained wooden door and walked in letting it swing silently shut behind him. The room was dark all but for a single lamp on the desk that lit nothing more then a pile of files with a soft pale blue light.

"Sir, shes awake" his voice trembled which he tried to hide fearing that he was not doing so well.

"Good, is she complete"

"Ses all but for your part that's, why I'm here, will....will you come?"

There was a few moments silence where the thin scientist readjusted his glasses by pushing them higher up his nose and hoped as he darted his eyes over the dark room trying to make anything, something in the shadows, he'd not made a grave mistake coming to the head of the corporation, Henry Whiteshaw's office at this time of night. It was no later then eleven thirty, but Henry was adamant on not being disturbed after ten, but this was far more important, the girl was ready and he had insisted that he wanted to know right away.

"Of course I will, this is wonderful news" Henry's white teeth stood out almost a light of there own in the blue light as he smiled, though his smiles were never to be trusted this was one of the rare times it was genuine.

The large black leather chair spun round to the side and a set of small white fingers lay upon the black marble desk as Henry pushed himself up from sitting.

"don't look so worried Alan I'm sure she's as perfect as my Mat."

Henry stood, he was not much taller then Alan, though he carried a presence of fear, that made you feel to cross this man you would be lucky live to tell the tail.

"shall we go, come along Missy we have a new arrival"

A huge gray shaggy well groomed dog stood as Alan opened the door and walked back out into the well lit corridor which now slightly blinded him. The dog was of that he had never seen before and Alan was sure was the outcome of the first experiments that Henry had preformed before his funding, which had been only a few years before Alan himself had come to work for him.

Alan waited tentatively wile Henry pulled on his black suit jacket and locked the door to his office, he then lead Henry silently to the lift at the end of the corridor rubbing lack of sleep from his eyes that he had barely noticed before the white lights that reflected of the perfectly white floor and frosted glass walls had started off a sting in each that was adamant on getting worse until he gave into sleep and was finally able to close them for longer then just a few moments. The click of Missy's claws as her four huge feet padded along at Henry's side were the only sound as they walked down the corridor and then stepped aboard the sparkling clean steel elevator, the doors closed quickly with a slight metallic knock behind their backs before they turned to face them.

"sit Missy, there's a good girl" Henry's voice was so cold, unless of course he was speaking to his monster of a dog, then if you didn't know it was him you would swear it was a completely different man capable of true human emotion.
