Chapter twelve

Ch 12 

The morning air was cooler then it had been even to that of just days beforehand, summer was truly gone, though some days its faint whispers could still be felt in the the cool breeze bringing autumn and with that the winter ever closer.  

They were on the move again, Lyn had told Ash there was an old supply bunker a few hours walk away and he would be able to find much of what he needed for the bomb there. 

Lucas had not spoken about Lyn's plan since she had told both he and Ash about it, he on the other hand often discussed it with Tom who kept telling him he need now more then ever to talk to Lyn. Lucas just couldn't face that discussion, or even a single thought about what she might say and what that might lead to. Loosing Lyn.  

Ash had gone over and over his ideas and plans until he found he didn't have anything close to what he needed to build the bomb, and the bunkers used during the evacuations like all the ones they have been living in just couldn't help. That was when Lyn went on the search for away of getting him what he needed, all but the part that would make sure it brought down not just the 'Rose Building' but all the other corporation buildings with it. That was the part of the plan Lyn need to put some more thought and research into. Not being fully operational was causing some real serious and annoying problems.

They all now walked towards the bunker Lyn had quickly shown Ash on a map to he agreed without question Lyn was right it was to far away for them to be able to come back to where they now were hidden. 

Lyn had then quickly found another bunker where she hopped they would be safely hidden until Ash had completed what he could of the bomb, then again she would have to find some way of getting the last part to make sure it worked as she needed it to. 

Ash walk ahead closely followed by Tom who instead on asking every question he could thing of about the plan he and Lyn were trying to carry out. 

Lucas was more then thankful for this, he didn't want to have to upset Tom by having to tell him to go away, he just couldn't face what this bomb meant. Also he'd have to admit that he had refused to talk to Lyn about her plan, and therefor knew very little about what was being done and just what would happen when the bomb went off.  

Behind them was Lyn, she kept herself far enough back so to make sure Tom didn't start questioning her as well as Ash, though Ash seemed more then happy with all the attention he was getting for his future bomb building.  

Lucas knew him well, Ash would go on for hours inflating his ego and Tom would clearly be stupid enough to listen, even long past him wanting Ash to shut up. 

Lucas quite happily kept his distance from the three in front, he so wanted to talk with Lyn, tell her how he felt, explain to her that it was because of how he truly felt for her that made him so angry with her for the plan she had come up with. 

Lyn then suddenly stopped and turned waiting for him to catch up, but refusing to meet is eyes. Lucas stopped by her side "Lyn?" he said her name like a question but tried not to so the concern her felt, hoping there was nothing really wrong. 

She looked up though her eyes still didn't look into his "Sorry" 

This was all she said to him as she gently took his hand in hers and started to once again follow the others. Lucas didn't know what exactly the sorry meant. She wasn't going to kill herself? Or was is just away of getting them talking once again? He didn't know and as long as they were at least talking he didn't care. He could work on keeping her alive later, Ash hadn't even started the bomb yet. 

"I know you want to keep me safe" Lyn started keeping her eyes firmly glued to the due covered grass they walked over "But there are somethings I just have to do"
