Roman walked her all the way to her door. Emily smiled at both, letting her in and quickly retreating to her room for sleep. It was just a little past midnight when she entered her room. Her heart was playing a tug of war. Half of it was over joyed at what she had experienced with Roman. She never knew it could feel that way. She was glad that she had gave herself to him and no one else. She couldn't picture herself with anyone else.
The other part was sad that he'd be gone for several weeks before he was able to return. He promised to write and call her when ever he could. She told him that she'd write too and would take care of the phone so that she wouldn't miss a call. She couldn't help feeling like a cliche. She dressed in her pajamas and laid down trying to fall to sleep.
She couldn't, her whole body was still singing. She felt utterly content and sated and some of that turned into guilt, asking herself why should she be happy when it was less than two weeks that her family had past away. She sighed, battling the emotional turmoil. She didn't want to taint what she had just shared with Roman but didn't want to forget about her family.
She sighed, she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep deciding on music as the cure. She slowly and quietly made her way to the studio. She began touching the instruments, looking at them with awe. Her heart felt the pull, asking her to pick one of them up and just play. She hadn't played the piano in months, deciding on her target she sat.

Roman drove back to his room with a grin. He had almost forgot Zayra's passion. For a moment he thought he had made it all up. The first time that she sought him out had him thinking it had been all a dream. His thoughts especially going down the wrong way because he had been upset with her. He began to doubt it all. He thought that maybe she had pretended somehow to love him. He thought she had played him, but it wasn't the case. She couldn't fake that even if she tried.
He bit his lip, tasting her again. He sighed, he would leave early in the morning so that he could make it back in time. His body anticipating the next time he would see Zayra. He was definitely going to miss her very much. He knew that she would need to stay in Los Angeles until the trial was over, until then he'd had to catch many flights her way. It was all worth it because she was worth it.

Jeremy was supposed to have been home hours ago. He couldn't go home just yet. He had to make sure she was asleep before sneaking in the house and showering. He knew that Emily was on to him and knew he should start seriously thinking about what he wanted because sooner or later she would find out about his affair and this time he doubted she'd stay.
He couldn't use Joshua as an excuse, he was getting older and he would be able to choose who to stay with. Most likely her. It wasn't that he didn't love Emily, it was just that he couldn't stay faithful. Temptation was everywhere, as a famous producer, the up and coming talent threw themselves easily at his feet. He at first tried many times to resist it and had succeeded but as soon as he had bit the forbidden fruit, it had become difficult for him to stop.
He had gotten away with a few affairs, mostly one night stands. It was the one that lasted longer than two weeks where he began to get sloppy. Like this trip, he had gone with the intentions to finish recording the soundtrack to this movie that would be released in a couple of months. However he had decided to play instead of work. For the whole 10 days he was gone, he probably did about 5 days of work. The rest was spent in her hotel room.
And by her, he meant his assistant. He had secretly developed a crush on her a couple of years ago but she had been engaged, recently they had broken up and he ended up catching her in a vulnerable moment.
