Zayra was waiting for the bus when she heard someone call her name. The hairs in the back of her neck stood up as she recognized his voice. She slowly turned around. She stared at eyes that looked at her hesitant. She felt her body tighten, a slow burn starting to travel through her body. She fought for control.

He took a step closer to her. His hands in his pocket, a small smile on his lips.

"Hello Zayra."

"What are you doing here."

He sighed and walked toward her. Stopped when she walked backwards.

"Zayra, you're my niece, the only family I have left. Please, can we go somewhere and talk."

She shook her head. "No. We can't"

"Please Zayra, it's important. Did you get my letter?"

"Yes, but I haven't opened it."

"But you haven't gotten rid of it either so you must be curious of what I have to say." He took a step closer to her. She backed away. He looked so much like her father, only older. He was dressed sharp. His brown hair was longer.

"Stay away."

"Wait. Zayra. Just give me 30 minutes to hear me out."

"You got 5."

He sighed, moved around. "Give me 15." He looked at her his eyes pleading.

She narrowed her eyes and squared her jaw. "Okay."

"Can we go somewhere else?" he looked at the people in the bus stop.

She shook her head.

"Please, my car is right over here." he points to an audi. He walks toward her and she backs away more. "Please Zayra. It's important."

She bites her lips looks at her fingers. When she looks up she nods. She heard his relief, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Come, we'll get some coffee or whatever." he raked his hair, afraid she'd change her mind.

She got in his car and headed toward the city.

Zayra didn't show up to Therapy or Anger management. Emily tried contacting her but she wasn't answering. She had Josh call everyone to look for her. She didn't want to call Roman just yet, but decided to call him, maybe he knew something she didn't. Maybe she had plans and just forgot to mention it.

Emily shook her head, this wasn't good. She had no excuse to miss any of her court ordered sessions. This would count against her, thought Emily. She called her father, then decided to call Roman after.

Ryan was looking everywhere for Zayra, all the spots he could think about. He had reached out to Nico and he was also looking for her on his side of town. She wasn't answering anyone's calls or texts. He was going home when he saw her getting off a taxi a few blocks from home. He parked his car and walked to her.

"Zayra."

She jumped. "Fucking Ryan, don't do that." she slurred.

"Are you drunk?"

She laughed, but kept walking.

"Zayra, where have you been? Everyone's been worried." he stood in front of her, blocking her way.

"Is that right." she moved around him.

"Zayra, where did you go?" his voice soft and worried.

Her green eyes danced with anger. "It's none of your fucking business Ryan. So stop this shit."
