Zayra and Nico smiled at all the Paparazzi that greeted them outside of the airport. She looked around and found her ride, she waved at Diego who waited for her with a grin in his face. Nico walked to him and shook his hand.
"Hey Diego." he grabbed her bags and put their luggage in inside the trunk.
"Hey Zayra, what's up Nico? How was Paris?"
She smiled wide. "Lovely."
He saw the blush creeping on her face. "I bet it was. And you Nico, did you treat my sister right?"
"Always Diego."
"Good. Come on my Tia Jimena is waiting for you guys." He opened the door for Zayra to sit up front.
"Good."
"How do you deal with this shit Nico?" he was talking about the paparazzi.
He shook his head. "I still haven't."
He weaved through the heavy Kennedy airport traffic that always troubled him. Diego was working in New York for a few months on a project and was happy to hear that Zayra would be joining Jimena's house for a few weeks.
He liked Zayra, she was tough yet sweet when she let herself. She hardly ever let anyone see her vulnerable side. He looked at her jade eyes dancing. He remembered his cousin Roman telling him from day one before he had first met Zayra to stay away from her because she was his. It had never fazed him until he finally met Zayra and had thought, What a shame, even at a young age, everyone knew Zayra would be a beauty.
"Tired?"
"Exhausted."
"Well, they have a whole day planned for you. Karen and Xio are going out of their minds right now, everyone's happy you're visiting."
"Well, I'm glad to be here. I really like Jimena and her family."
"What about my family Zayra?" he looked at her with mirth.
"I loove your family, maybe not as much as Nico here but it's pretty close."
He laughed. "I know you're going to be busy here but do you think you can take a day and spend it with me?"
"Of course." Zayra didn't feel uncomfortable with Diego. He looked at her in a way where she recognized he thought of her as attractive yet because of his love and loyalty to his family he would never cross the line.
Now as for Carlos, that was another story. He didn't care about crossing lines or stepping on toes.
"Good, I have a few friends I'd like to show you off too."
She laughed.

"Zayra!" Xio exclaimed.
"Xio, Karen, lil Hugo." she let them hug her, reminding herself to loosen up a bit.
She looked at Jimena who waited patiently for her kids to stop holding her.
"Hello Jimena, thank you for having me here."
"Zayra, I wouldn't want it any other way."
"Yes, mi Casa es tu Casa." she heard her husband entering the living room.
"Hey Hugo, thanks."
Jimena and her family lived at the Beatrice Apartments which was located Midtown South Central New York. They lived in a 3 bedroom penthouse. She had never been to her house before, it was beautiful. They lived on the 30th floor, the penthouse had large expansive walls of windowsto watch the iconic river and the beatiful city view. The place offered amenities such as a 24-hour concierge, fitness center, yoga studio and an exclusive Cloud Lounge and sun deck. Talk about sophisticated living.
