****NOT EDITED*****
Don Xavier paced his office. His brother Enrique read the report and was upset as well. During their audit they have found discrepancies and wanted no needed to follow up as soon as possible.
"What is Roman's last day in the service?"
"Sometime at the end of August I think."
He nodded. "We need to make sure when he comes tonight, he's aware of this." he sighed. "Mario left to pick up Zayra?"
"Yes, they should be here soon."
He sighed again, this wasn't good news for him or the company. He needed to follow up and make sure. Once he got to the bottom of this, he wouldn't hesitate to strike the person down.
"As soon as Roman gets here, get Rudy and him in here no matter the time."
"Okay brother." Enrique looked at the documents. He knew they still needed to finish auditing but so far what they had found was appalling.

"Senorita Zayra, I'm so happy to see you're back." Mario grabbed her luggage and quickly opened the door for her.
"Thank you Mario. How's the family."
"They're great, everyone is excited about your engagement. I hoped that this would take place?"
"Really?"
"Yes, I have known you and Senor Roman for a long time. I've watched him grow up and I've watched him fall in love with you."
"Really?" she couldn't say another word but this brought a big smile on her face.
"Yes back when you would zoom out running to play with your pigtails flying everywhere. He would chase you around until his heart was content."
"Well he still chases me around so that hasn't changed."
"No it hasn't changed. But now, this is different, you will be his wife and if you thought he held you in a pedestal before." he made a face and sighed. "It's a beautiful thing to watch two people who love each other come together."
"I didn't know you were a poet." she teased.
He laughed.
"You didn't? You should ask Sandra to show you my love letters."
"No way you used to write love letters to her?"
"Used to." he made a noise. "I still do."
"Wow Mario, I wasn't aware that you were a hopeless romantic."
"All men are Zayra, if and when it's with the right girl."
She smiled their eyes locking in the rear view mirror. "I hope to stay very much in love with Roman after we've been married as long as you have."
"Can I give you a piece of advice."
"Of course."
"Just love him and he'll always be faithful to you."
"That simple?"
"Yes, that simple. A man knows when the girl isn't sincere. You can say it, you can kind of show it but if they sense you're dishonest it won't work. A man can feel it, taste it and when they do, he'll be forever putty in your hands."
"I'll keep that in mind thank you."
He nodded and smiled at her. The whole staff was happy that they were getting married. Rumors about Roman purchasing land to build her a house had gone rampant around the town.
