****NOT EDITED****
Angie had came over the following morning bright and early and scolded her.
"Damn it Zayra! What the fuck was that about. Everyone was going crazy. We didn't know what happened. Why didn't you call me. I wouldn't have told them anything." her eyes defiant, upset with her.
"It's none of your business Angie." she tried to cover her face with the pillow it was too early. Roman had left after she fell asleep. It was past four in the morning when she finally closed her eyes and drifted to sleep. He had promised to be back by lunch time. She groaned as Angie opened her windows to let the sun ray's shine in her room.
"Close the fucking window!" she yelled. She heard Angie laugh at her.
"I need to pee, I drank way too much coffee." she opened the door and screeched. Zayra had to smile at that. She knew she had found Joshua inside.
"Close the door Angie."
She kept it open a little while longer, her green eyes smiling at him. She had seen him, seen his penis while he tried to pee.
"That's what you get for not locking the door Joshua." she winked and closed the door.
Zayra sat up, she didn't even look embarrassed. Angie turned to her, a wicked grin on her face.
"Have you seen him?" her eyebrow raised.
"Hell no. I don't want to either." she began to stretch. Angie wasn't going anywhere, she wasn't going back to sleep. She might as well get up. Music. She needed to play.
Angie sat down on her bed. "I think I'm in love with Joshua."
"Gross."
"Shut up. We can't all have studs like you." she raised her eyebrows continuously. "Your poor dude was going cray cray for you."
She sighed. "I know."
"Why did you run." this time her voice quieter, her green eyes asking in earnest.
"It's hard to explain. I've known his family all my life. They've been there for my family. I always felt like fucking Charity with them. They're always around helping us financially. Being there without my family just showed me I'm not their family." she shrugged. "it just got very overwhelming for me."
"I bet. I don't know how I'd be Zayra." she shook her head. "I can understand the need to run."
"What. Why?" she looked at her.
She sighed, "Trust me my problems are not yours, I'm just a spoiled whining brat." she smirked at that. "Yet I can understand pressure. The pressure to succeed, to do better than your parents. It can become overwhelming and the need to escape becomes..." she didn't finish her sentence.
Zayra nodded. She heard Joshua flush the toilet and watched Angie run to the door, it was too late, he had escaped to his room. Angie, snapped her fingers grinning at Zayra.
Zayra got up and grabbed clothes to wear. She was meeting Roman at 1 for lunch. She looked at her clock. It was seven in the morning. She wondered if she should ask Jeremy if it was alright to go to the studio tomorrow. She wanted to introduce him to Nico.
