Rudy was surprised to wake up and see Zayra in their home with Roman. He quickly recomposed his face and continued with his breakfast. His mother and father looked happy to see her. But no one more than Roman.

Throughout the day they would still argue but he would kiss her and then it was as if nothing happened.

In the evening she made them all grab an instrument and sing Xmas carols in Spanish. She then had them sing the second verse to five songs she had printed out for them and made them sing it one by one.

It was pretty funny.

After that when she was bored she played Chess with Enrique while Roman spoke on the phone with one of his friends who was inviting them to his annual New Year's party.

Rudy and his mom played poker. She was pretty good. She already won $100 in the first 10 minutes. He shook his head, placing his cards down upset.

The radio was playing softly in the background. Zayra jumped hearing a song that she liked, highered the radio and began dancing. She moved to grab Marina and made her dance with her.

"Come on Marina, I've seen you shake it before, show me how it's done." she laughed teasing her. Her mother was a bit embarrassed, but Zayra convinced her to do a few salsa moves.

"Chaooo!" she whistled at her.

Marina beaned and danced even more. Zayra began singing the song and moved with Marina, twirling her as if she was the male.

Enrique watched them dance, laughing at their energy. Zayra went to him and pulled him up and moved him to Marina. She was still singing.

She grabbed Rudy and forced him up. She curved her fingers calling him over to dance. He smiled, knowing that she wouldn't stop. So why fight her.

He began moving around to the song, his smile spreading as she sang and danced. He was glad she was doing better. He was just as worried as everyone else about her. What a difference a few days did, he thought. The song finished and they clapped and cheered.

"You see, now I feel like going out and dancing." Zayra sat back down to finish the game.

Roman had watched it all. "You want to go dancing?"

"Yes, why are you offering?"

"There's a New Year's party that my friend has every year, would you like to escort me?"

"Are you asking me out on a date?"

"Yes."

"Okay?"

"Should we invite Diego and Angie?"

"Yes and Daniella. What about you Rudy you want to go?"

He was about to refuse when she cut him off. "Don't act like you have something to do because we all know you don't." she winked at him.

"Fine. I'll go." he shook his head.

"You want me to call Angie?" she looked at Roman.

He looked between his dad and her and then at their game. Zayra was going to win, he already knew what her strategy was just by seeing where she placed her bishop.

"No I'll call Diego."

"Okay, what time you taking me back."

He smiled wickedly. "I'm not."

"Roman you promised. You said you'd take me back today." she turned to Enrique, "Then he wonders why I keep saying no to him." she moved her pawn.

Enrique looked at Roman. "If she wants to go home take her home."
