Zayra woke up to Roman's kisses. It was too early she thought, she was finally asleep, no thanks to him of course.

"Zayra, come on, for the road." he was leaving with his father and godfather on business.

"Roman, I finally fell asleep." she groaned but felt herself waking up despite her protests.

"Just a little, all I need is 5 minutes." he teased.

She grinned.

"I'll be back later today, what are you going to do without me?" he asked her as he removed her tshirt.

"I don't know. I haven't exactly made plans."

"I want to take you out tonight." He kissed her thighs.

"Okay." she whispered.

"Come on, I'll be quick I promise."

She felt his grin.

"Okay."

*********

Don Xavier, Enrique, Rudy and Roman were visiting one of the local men who sold them the containers for their coffee. He needed large quantities of containers.

Coffee is best stored in an airtight container made of ceramic or glass, which the man was known to make. Don Enrique knew that coffee freshness and flavor is preserved when it is stored away from moisture, heat, and light, thus needing these specific containers.

They were also there to talk to one of the leading agriculturalist there. Don Xavier knew that used coffee grounds may be used for composting or as a mulch.

His father learned long ago that, un-shaded coffee plants grown with fertilizer yield the most coffee, although unfertilized shaded crops generally yield more than unfertilized un-shaded crops: the response to fertilizer is much greater in full sun.

He liked to be out early so that he was home early. He liked having Rudy around too, he seemed to enjoy this part of the business.

Don Xavier sometimes had moments of sadness that his own son was not around to continue with the legacy. Yet, he knew that these two boys would be the best one's to entrust the family business to.

He felt his weary bones, he still had many years ahead of him but he needed to start giving more of the reins to Roman. Soon, he'd be out of the service and be back full time.

That's when he planned on having him slowly start to take over. He had thought about retiring, his brother had even mentioned it a few times but he loved this very much and he was happy to see that Roman and Rudy did too.

"Zayra, wake up, come with me." Dona Lourdes soft voice rang in Spanish.

"Is everything okay?" Zayra jumped up, a worried expression on her face.

"No nothing is wrong. I just want you to accompany me  to town for some ingredients."

"Oh." she smiled wide. "Of course, give me 15 minutes and I'll be downstairs."

"Make sure you eat breakfast too." she scolded.

"I will, I'm starving." Dona Lourdes saw her slightly blushing, as she grabbed clothes and entered the restroom.

She smiled and went back downstairs. She needed to go to the Market in town to buy a few items for Sunday's dinner.

Tingo Maria's main market was located at the southern end of the main street, selling everything from socks to soups. She had already dispatched Mario to be ready to take them to town.
