Yolanda took them all to Cancun for a few days. They would return back to Mexico City in a few days and continue with her trip.

Cancun was beautiful. Instead of sleeping in a hotel, they all slept inside the boat. And at  night they went to the clubs were Carlos tried to dance with Zayra

Zayra knew that Aida was trying to get her alone with Carlos. The good thing was Daniella didn't leave her side once. She saw it too, she wasn't dumb.

Daniella would quickly come up with an excuse moving her away.

Zayra sat next to Aida and Daniella catching the Sun's rays atop of the boat. They were enjoying their last day before heading back.

She looked at her empty ring finger and couldn't help feel guilty thinking about how she left Roman.

She knew he wouldn't be able to come after her and knew soon he had to go back to France while she toured. She was safe for a while.

Yet she knew he would eventually seek her.

She hoped that he'd hate her for doing that to him and call the whole thing off. She would explain to Don Xavier she didn't want the money.

How could she go through with the plans when Roman thought of her in such way.

She rubbed her chest.

Fuck it hurt!

He thought she was lying about her feelings.  He didn't even ask her to explain he had figured it all out.  Or so he thought.

Oh well.

She knew it though.

It had been to good to be true.

Enrique showed up with Marina and noticed Roman's foul mood. He was drinking and cursing everyone away.

Marina's heart squeezed at her son, wishing she could help him. Rudy filled her in with the details.

After a few hours of this. Enrique helped him up to his room. He was angry at his father, his godfather, at his whole family it seemed, but mostly it was Zayra.

"Roman, what has changed? Do you love her?"

"It was all a big fucking lie father that's what's changed."

"It was no lie Roman. We were trying to protect Zayra and her assets from her father and uncle. Listen, we did this in case anything happened to Lucia. Your godfather and I needed to be sure Zayra would stay safe, away from them two.  The only way we can keep an eye on her was to make her family."

He grabbed his sons face. Watching his anguish. "And who better to chose as her partner in this union than you. You who has loved her for so long. Tell me Roman what has changed!?"

Roman growled, his anger burning him.

"Then why didn't you tell me if you were so sure I'd marry her father?"
