Zayra began to see and feel herself healing. It was almost Xmas and she had set a regular routine for herself. She had to go two times a week for an hour to see her Psychiatrist. The office was over an hour away, Zayra preferred early morning so that she could be home in the afternoons.

One weekend, Victor brought his band mates to the house. Daniella was visiting from school and Rudy was home accompanying her. They all sat in the music room hearing the band play a couple of songs. She was surprised that Victor could play the electric guitar. The singer Adam had a good voice too, the drummer was the weaker of the four. Definitely not as good as Ryan but with practice he'd get better.

"So what do you think?" Victor asked a bit hesitant.

"How long have you guys been playing?"

"A year."

"How often do you guys practice?"

"Twice a week sometimes less."

"Listen, I can see that you guys have something...I like the reggae jazzy rock vibe you guys have. It's really interesting but you need to practice, a lot. I see that you guys do play well together but if you're serious about a music career and you want me to help you guys, then you must commit. Completely. I don't do half way shit." she had to suppress a smile thinking about Roman's words.

I want everything Zayra, nothing halfway with you.

"We are. Can you help us?"

She looked at the three, her eyes serious. "Are you guys serious?"

"Yes," they said in unison.

"Then we'll start today."

Victor smiled gratefully at her. Dani jumped up excitedly. She had gone to the Studio in L.A to see Zayra work with other people, writing songs, playing multiple instruments, singing the melody, it was fun.

"Rudy, do you mind joining us?"

"Sure."

"Work with Adam and Victor with the guitar, I'll work with Jose on drums. Dani, you just feed us please." she grinned at her.

"Yes ma'am." she walked out to begin making some appetizers to fuel them.

She heard them playing and Zayra giving them instructions. By the end of the day she was satisfied with their progress. They had played for hours and promised to be by at least three times a week to practice.

"Tell me Zayra? What do you enjoy most about music? Playing, singing, teaching?" Dani asked as they sat in the living room. Rudy flipped through the t.v. looking for something to watch. Victor stood back and was helping his uncle in the back.

She sighed, "Everything, I love the way music makes me feel." she closed her eyes and thought about Roman.

"You make music sound so sexy when you play and sing it." she grinned at her.

"That's because I get inspiration from your cousin."

"Gross." she made a face.

"Well I'm sure Nico feels the same way, he gets his inspiration through life, I know he wrote a couple of songs about you." she pointed at her. "He asked me to sing the melody. I just recorded it the other day and sent it to Jeremy. Their working on his next album." she smiled happy about this.

"What's up with Damon and Anomaly's album?"

"It's going. I wrote a couple more with Angie." she laughed, they had used skype to communicate. "Damon's will be a mini LP so he only needs one more song to complete it. Jeremy's hoping that it will be ready next year. Anomaly's should be ready by the end of this year but I don't see it hitting the public till early next year hopefully." she crossed her fingers.
