Chapter 93

The house was packed. There were many people attending the party, young mostly. The party was at a beautiful home in the city Huanuco Peru. It belonged to one of Roman's friend he met through the families business deals. They had attended the same boarding school.

They decided to stay at a hotel close by so that they didn't have to drive the two hours back home.

Zayra was nervous, she had met a few of Roman's friends when they were younger. She didn't know this friend Armando but knew of him. She wanted to be in her best behavior.

As they approached the beautiful home she heard the music blasting.

The Valet moved efficiently opening the vehicles door for the guests, then grabbing the keys they moved to park the vehicle. Roman extended his hand, leading her to the entrance of the home. She looked around and saw many people had already arrived. She saw the valet attendants running back and forth parking all the vehicles.

One of the servants stood greeting the guests as they arrived and another older man helped with their coats.

She saw a tall handsome young man smiling brightly as he walked toward Roman. She looked behind her and saw Angie and Diego holding hands Nico, Rudy and Daniella, walking behind.

"Roman, you made it." He smiled at Rudy. "Rudy, wow, you've grown." he shook his hand. He turned and froze when he saw Zayra. She saw the recognition in his eyes.

"Roman...is this...are you Zayra?" his smile was slowly spreading.

"Hello." she smiled accepting his hand shake.

"Armando, this is my fiance Zayra."

"Are you serious?" he looked at the two. "How did you manage that?" he teased Roman. "Zayra, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am a big fan and so is my girlfriend. Do you mind if I show you off to some of my guests." he smiled devilishly at her and at Roman.

Zayra looked at Roman who nodded. "It's nice to meet you Armando, no I don't mind but if you're going to show off then I'd like to introduce you to a couple more musicians."

His eyes went large. "Really?" he turned to the rest of the guests. "Who do we have here?" He recognized Nico.

"This is Nico and this is Angie, she's the bass player for Anomaly." She pointed.

"Hello, I'm very glad to have you guys here in my home. Come in." Roman introduced him to his cousins Daniella and Diego as Armando led them to a section of tables where they would be able to watch the live music play.

He waved at a beautiful girl who was huddled in a small circle.

She sauntered her way to them. Her eyes widened as she recognized Roman, her smile spreading as she saw Zayra.

"Janette, do you recognize this beautiful young lady here."

"Oh my god." she covered her cheeks. "Armando you didn't tell me she was coming here!" she moved excitedly toward her. She extended her hand. Zayra heard her accent, it was different.

"I didn't know she was coming either, it turns out she's Roman's fiance."

"Roman? Why have you been keeping this a secret from us?" she turned back to Zayra. "Zayra, my name is Janette and I'm a huge fan, welcome to our home, I'm so excited to have you here." her eyes were bright.

"Thank you for having us." she liked her immediately.

"Oh my god, this is surreal, this just elevated my night. Sit, what would you like to drink? Armando please attend your guests." she turned back to them. "I think he's just as star struck as me, our manners escape us." she blushed.
