The Meet and Greet

Chapter 29

Allie's POV

Shawn just walked out. I was just standing here confused. He was one of my best friends. Honestly I'd consider him my best friend and he just walked out. I didn't even do anything.

Jack came behind me and put his arms around my waist and then placed his chin on my head. "What's wrong babe?," he said.

I turned around and gave him a hug and kissed him and said, "Nothing."

We went to go get our shoes and then picked teams. It was me and Johnson against Madison and Gilinsky, Sammy and Bianca against Cameron and Lauren (his girlfriend), Dillon and Taylor against Carter and Matt, Nate and Kenny against Nash and Aaron. Hayes was just sitting at a table eating.

We were at the bowling alley all night, but I couldn't concentrate after what happened with Shawn. It was so weird. I never thought he would like me...I didn't have feeling for him though. I called him my brother before! That's so awkward.

2 hours later

My thoughts were interrupted when Jack picked me up bridal style. "What's going on babe and don't say nothing because I know it's something."

I laughed and said, "Don't worry about it cutie."

He refused to put me down. He walked up to Hayes and they both began walking towards the counter. "Jack the games not over," I said. "What are you doing?"

He wouldn't tell me. Hayes took off my shoes for me and put my vans back on my feet and then Jack just kept walking. He told me to open the car door.

"No not until you tell me what you're doing," I said sticking my tongue out.

He made a sad face and said, "Babe it will ruin the surprise." I rolled my eyes and just opened the door for him.

Jack began driving and after 25 minutes we got to a neighborhood that looked very familiar. Oh no. I knew exactly where we were.

"Jack...what are we doing here?," I said super scared.

He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "I felt bad so we're going to make things right," he said smiling.

I love Jack, but why would he do this to me? Ugh.

Shawn's POV

I heard the doorbell ring and was so excited to get the pizza I had ordered. I opened the door without a shirt on and was wearing basketball shorts.

"Oh...hey," I said.

"Hey man can we come inside?," Jack said.

I couldn't say no because that's even more awkward. I nodded my head and moved out of the way to let him and Allie in.

They both sat on the couch and she was sitting on his lap. I just sat in a chair across from them.

"Dude I just wanted to apologize for what I did at the party that night. I just got really jealous when I saw Allie kiss you and I didn't know why until I realize what I had lost," Jack said.

I wanted to make this less awkward and no offense to them, but I kind of wanted them to go...It was too awkward for me. I smiled and said, "No worries bro thanks for stopping by."

I was about to get up and open the door to let them out when Allie said something.

"Jack can I talk to Shawn alone?," Allie said. Shit.

He kissed her and she got off his lap. "Yeah sure babe, I'll be in the car," He said. She nodded her head and we did a bro hug then he walked to his car.

"What?," I said.

"Don't what me. You can't just walk out like that and expect me to be okay with it! Shawn you're my best friend and I want to know why you did that," she said. She seemed super angry.

I looked at the floor and then back at her and said, "I just wasn't feeling it tonight."

"Shawn don't lie to me. I know why you left. I know that you like-," I cut her off by kissing her. I didn't mean to, but I did.

"Hey guys I forgot my- Oh...I didn't know I was interrupting something," Jack said.

Allie pushed me off and then walked over to Jack who was crying. "Babe oh my god! Shawn kissed me I swear I didn't do anything," she said crying.

"Save it," Jack said and started walking out. He got in the car and was about to turn it on and leave when I stopped him.

Johnson's POV

I was sitting in the car waiting for my beautiful girlfriend. Oh shoot I forgot my jacket. I texted Allie letting her know I did.

Hey babe I forgot my jacket. Mind getting to for me?😘

She didn't text back so I figured I'd just go get it myself. I walked out the car and to his door. It was unlocked so I walked right in.

Tears starting filling my eyes because of what I just saw. Shawn and Allie were kissing. Again.

I was so mad and upset. Allie tried to stop me, but I just got in my car. I was about to back out of the driveway when Shawn came and stood behind my car. Despite of what he did I could never backup...It wouldn't be right.

I stopped the car, but kept the doors looked.

"Dude just please listen to me," Shawn said. Allie came next to him and was crying. He was about to hug her, but then stopped. I got so upset seeing her cry.

I rolled down my window a little bit and said, "What?"

"Bro I kissed her. She didn't want to kiss me. I made the first move. I'm in love with her and I just wanted to be with her so bad," he said.

"You're-you're in love with me?," Allie said. She began wiping away her tears. She kissed him again. "I love you too," she said and they began making out right in front of me. I was crying so much.

"NO ALLIE STOP WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME," I screamed.

"JACK JACK JACK," Allie said.

I woke up. "Wait...what?....It was just a nightmare?...Allie I fucking love you," I said kissing her.

She laughed and said, "You fell asleep, what happened?"

I hugged her super tight and said, "Don't worry about it, just promise to never leave me."

"I won't," she said. I kissed her. I was so scared I began crying, but Allie didn't see because I quickly wiped my tears away. Thank god it was just a nightmare.
