·Sam·
I squinted my eyes open as the hot sunlight beated down on my sweaty face. I sucked in a deep breath as I felt the hot ground sting my skin. I gazed around in confusion.
I was outside. In a tight black dress. Stilettos. Painted nails. Fresh makeup on my face. An empty hand bag. But messy hair.
What the-
I looked beside me as a boy stirred next to me on the ground. Sweat dripped from his forehead. He was wearing a neat black suit. His hair looked messy yet perfect at the same time. As if it was supposed to be like that. He blinked once as he stared straight up then quickly sat up in confusion holding his head in sudden pain.
It was then I realized the throbbing ache in my head also.
"Um hello?" I questioned. He turned his head to me as I noticed dry blood on his forehead. His face was tan and extremely familiar. The boy seemed my age and he was very attractive might I add.
"Wha-who-where am I-we...?" He brushed his blonde locks back as be let out a deep breath.
"And why are we dressed so fancy?"
He dug through his pockets looking for some sort of communication.
"You got a phone on ya?"
I shook my head quickly in fear.
"Sorry but do I know you?" I questioned suddenly.
"You mean you don't where the hell we are or how we got here?"
I looked around the empty sidewalks and closed stores that all seemed abandoned then shook my head.
"Sorry no clue."
He sighed then stood up unbuttoning his suit and shirt.
"How did we even get here?"
"It seems we've been robbed and we both have bruises." I looked at my reflection in the window closest to us. My cheek had a dark bruise yet my makeup was perfectly on point. He turned and looked at his reflection as he squinted his eyes in confusion.
"I don't even remember owning this suit what the heck?" he brushed through his locks.
"What's your name?" I questioned shyly.
"...Ashton. And you?"
"Samantha."
"Ok sam samantha we've gotta find a way to get out of here?"
"But how there isnt a single car or piece of technology in sight...not even telephone poles."
He sighed in agreement.
"Then we walk."
So I slipped out of my stilettos and walked barefoot following the mysterious boy I woke up next to on concrete. It seemed all ridiculous. We just walked the empty streets to which it seemed as if the abandoned stores never ended. The heat became stronger as he turned back to look at me in confusion.
"You okay?" he questioned.
"Yeah just thirsty." I choked. I didnt want to cry out of terror. This was all so horrifying.
"We're like in the middle of nowhere.." Ashton trailed off.
"It's as if.." I started, "as if we were brought here."
"And this headache..." Ashton added onto my statement, "seems like a hangover."
"How we can not remember a single thing." I muttered.
