Unknown number: hi are you awake

Me: who is this?

Unknown number: luke hemmings

Me: luke? How did you get my number?

Unknown number: it doesn't matter can i come to your house?

Me: what

Unknown number: great thanks

Before I could even respond I heard light taps on my window. I groaned and opened my window and looked down without hesitation.

"Let me in!" he yelled lightly. If that made any sense.
He whisper shouted. There we go.

"Are you drunk?" I raised an eyebrow with annoyance.

"No!"

He was drunk.

"You're disgusting im not letting you in." I hated Luke. And I always will.

"Please please Phoebe! I'll do anything."

"Would you take me shopping?!"

"No!"

"Then leave."

"Fine fine...I'll do it."

"Go home Luke."

"At this point I don't really have one." he struggled holding onto my house for support. I suddenly felt pity. I had no idea what he meant but at the same time I had a wierd feeling.

"Come around I'll open the front door." I mumbled closing my window before he could reply. I tiptoed down and found my older brother sitting on the bar stool drinking milk. The kid loved milk.

"What do you need?" he mumbled setting his glass in the sink.

"I uh...I just needed some fresh air." I lied then sped out the door. Luke was leaning against the house for support. I closed the door behind me and whispered,

"You can't come inside."

"Why not?"

"My brother is there, he'll flip. Follow me."

I led him to my garage and opened it praying my brother would just think I was gonna go for a bike ride.

"Just crash here but leave early. Im gonna set like 5 alarms for you."

Luke gave me a sad look while he layed against the car in the back.

"Okay...thanks Phoebe."

I nodded and began to walk away until Luke spoke.

"You love superheroes don't you?" he glanced at my shirt. I noticed he had sobered up a little.

"Yeah, Iron Man." I chuckled shyly, "You should see my room too. Posters of my favorite heroes everywhere.

"Dang, you're obsessed."

"No. I just...you wouldn't understand." I frowned and turned around walking inside. That kid always made my blood boil.

··Luke··

When the first alarm went off I knew I slept through it because the rest of the 3 did not stop blaring in my ear until I shot up.

6:15. Really Phoebe?

I groaned. Beside me I noticed there was aspirin and a tall glass of water. I thanked god that she at least showed SOME good in her. I was glad that I did sort of remember last nights events. I wasn't as drunk as she thought anyway.
