"Haha look even her name is innocent."

"Elliot!" Ms. Hodgeman, my neighbor and also possibly my best friend, called out as I nearly slipped out the door.

"Yeah?"

"You forgot your phone!" she waved my brand you iPhone in the air as I mentally prayed she wouldn't drop it. I had left it in her house the night before. I remember spending the whole day at her house then when I came back, Denise, my step mother, had assigned me double the amount of chores.

"Im coming."

"Have a good first day Elle." she called out as I nodded and hopped out the door in excitement.

"Move it loser." My step sister, Shane, shoved past me as I rolled my eyes grabbing the nearest keys I could find since my step mother owned a lot of cars.

"Give me that, I'm driving that today." My SECOND step sister, Jane, shoved me away as I frowned.

"Can I just drive today?" I whispered.

"Mom!" Jane yelled. I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for the shouts.

"ELLIOT GIVE JANE HER CAR KEYS DAMMIT YOU WORTHLESS RAT."

I tossed Jane the car keys as she caught them and smirked mumbling under her breath,

"Virgin." my eyes widened. How did she know? I glanced up at her as she let out a giggle.

"Everyone would love to hear that Cinderella is still a virgin."

Was it that bad? Not having sex ever? Not dating someone? Not wearing hipster clothing that, may I add, are so revealing. What if I didnt care about my sex life.
I huffed grabbing another pair of keys and jogging into the garage.

Brighten up Elle, Calum Hood's party was on Friday, tomorrow. He had invited everyone. Apparently it was his birthday party. Practically all the girls were talking about who he was going to pick to hit on and possibly do more then just make out. At first I had cringed at the thought of alcohol and drunk teens until I told Ms. Hodgeman. She was not as old which helped me ask her for advice a lot.

Anyway, Ms. Hodgeman was kind enough to buy me a dress for a change begging me to go. The worst part was that it was a bit skin tight making me feel uncomfortable and awkward.
After Ms. Hodgeman had convinced me I had begged Denise. She had ignored me so I had planned on asking her again tomorrow.

Calum Hood was a gorgeous boy with chocolate eyes. I always felt this wierd need to run my fingers through his hair when he glanced at me in the few classes we had together. His voice attracted me more since I loved to sing. I always imagined what a duet with him would be like. He was in a band which made him seem hotter. His bandmates were pretty hot too, no joke. I remember passing the lead singer, Luke's house once and heard them up for band practice at about 6 am. They were pretty serious. A loud horn blared behind me as I suddenly jumped.

"Hurry up loser your whole innocent act is disgusting me." Shane yelled behind. That didn't make sense to me at all. Aren't the skanks like her supposed to be more disgusting? I adjusted my mirror pressing the gas pedal.
I wasn't going to let the girls and their friends get to me today. I might even try to talk Calum.

······

"Good morning." Mr. Stevens shut the door as soon as the second bell rang. A chorus of groans greeted him in reply. I bit the eraser of my pencil focusing on the soft locks of the boy sitting two seats ahead of me. Change my mind, I can't talk to him. I mean, the kid's got no flaws. When your standing in front of Calum Hood you just suddenly feel this self conscious thing build up. It's not normal.
