I shook out of his grip and faced the boy. I now noticed his ghostly features. He had some dry blood on his lips and bandana. There were light scars on his arms and you can see the faint tears in his muscle tee. But that was easily covered with a normal looking Ashton.
Ashton was smirking. I was shaking.
"You heard me."
I sure did. I opened my mouth yhrn closed it repeatedly. But before I could actually speak Ashton grabbed my hand and we disappeared leaving the three boys disappeared and stunned.
We appeared in a beautiful bedroom. There were a few candles lit. The room was very big. The curtains were a beautiful shade of maroon and the bed looked as of there were fresh new sheets on it.
I gasped though when a ghostly image appeared before my eyes then vanished. As if it was just a flicker of the past. The candles were blown out. The sheets were stained with blood. The curtains were wide open and one of them was ripped off. For a moment, the bedroom looked like a murder scene.
"Come.." Ashton smiled and led me toward the bed. He sat me down and I barely struggled to whisper,
"Let me go."
"Ah no. I'm not going to deal with this." he chained my arm to the bed and smirked. His ghostly hands running up my arm. His cold hands touched my cheek making me shiver closing my eyes.
"Stop it. Please let me go." My voice sounded as if I was crying.
"How about this Hazel," Ashton clutched my hand and almost looked at me desperately, "if I can keep you, then I'll let your friends go." I sucked in a deep breath. I wasn't going to spend the rest of my life with this love crazed boy.
"They die or I'll let them go. Your choice."
"How about you let us all go?" I struggled away from his grip scooting back towards the bed. Ashton's eyes darkened.
"That wasn't one of the options sweetie." he kissed me hard and I realized how real it felt then he flashed to the other side of the room.
"I want you so bad." he whispered leaning against the wall and staring at me. I looked away and couldn't help but think about Michael.
Michael would've done the same thing if he were in my spot right?
"Fine..." I whispered. "You let them go first and I'll do what you say."
Ashton smiled brightly. "Aw this was too easy! Let's go find them." he flashed us back into the main room to find the boys had disappeared. Ashton cursed loudly. "Really are you twats hiding again?!" he yelled fiercely and I almost cowered in fear. "Get out here!" Ashton yelled again and we heard the sound of footsteps. I desperately looked at Michael as he ran towards me but Ashton pushed him away. "She's mine now."
"What?" Michael breathed in terror.
"Yes. She's agreed to be mine. Now get lost before I kill you all." Ashton waved at them and they looked at each other in surprise. A door opened as the daylight settled in and a strong gust of wind blew inside. Calum and Luke exchanged looks then looked at me. I knew they were going to make a run for it but I urged them anyway.
"Go," I whispered, "just get out of here. All of you." Ashton laughed and nodded placing an arm around.
"You heard the girl." his voice boomed and the mall shook slightly.
"Before we leave," Luke spoke and I closed my eyes in sadness, "do you ever leave this mall?"
Ashton's eyes softened for a moment but anger took over him. "No. I can't. Now leave!" He yelled and Luke grabbed Michael's arm and fled.
"Wait NO!" Michael yelled but Ashton had already shut the doors. The lights flicked off but I could still see Ashton's ghostly light. He turned to me as I shook.
"Now. I have to kill you."
··Michael··
The mall flickered once we exited. Luke shook the door handle. It was locked.
What did he mean by 'I can't' when Luke asked him the question?
"We have to save her." I whimpered glancing through any window possible. Calum and Luke exchanged pained looks.
"Look...Michael--"
"No!" I yelled, "that's not fair! Without us you both would've never left unless we came! You're lucky Hazel is such a caring person!" I shouted in anger and threw myself against the door. It didn't budge. I sat down leaning my head on it. "Now she's gone." I whispered.
"Not exactly..." Calum gasped looking up at a billboard. I squinted my eyes and read the words.
"Ghost...busters?" I whispered reading out the words. We all looked at one another and a smile creeped onto my face.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Let's bust this ghost."
THE END.
