"You're mine baby, no one can touch you but me."

..

The words still rang in her mind like a warning bell. She was stiff as he had whispered those words in her ear trailing a finger across her bare collarbone. She neither agreed not disagreed. She was merely frozen stiff.

She was alone that day, walking home in the dark when a warm hand had grabbed and pinned her against the wall covering her mouth with his other soft hand. She realized how familiar those hazel eyes were. They ringed a bell but before she even knew it, he was gone with a rush of cold air. But he was watching her. Everywhere she went, he was there, watching, waiting.

.........

As a sophomore in high school Dawn had an average group of friends that held the same goals as her. Come to school, study, go to college, get a good job, get married. She knew it was boring but all she ever wanted was to please her parents. She didn't care that they wanted her to have a good life, after all they were looking out for her but sometimes she wished for some freedom. Some type of escape.

She never attracted guys either. She always found herself friend zoned immediately whenever she would get close with someone. It bothered her a lot but who cares right? She was only 15 and was still dreaming. Her perfect normal world flipped upside down though when she hopped off the quiet school steps alone and waited for her mum to pick her up.

Somedays she stayed after at the library to not study, but give herself some free time. She enjoyed being alone and spent her time reading and writing her fantasies in a small black journal, filling up pages in pages with her tiny hand-writing.

Dawn sat down on the black benches and waited patiently. The wind was light and the air was warm. It was a perfect summer. She was thinking of all the things she could've been doing right now instead of sitting on a stupid black bench that hurt her butt.

She didn't look up from her book when she noticed a car drive up to the curb because she knew her car was red and this car was a light gold/beige color. Someone stepped out and began walking towards her. When they were about 10 feet away from her, that's when she decided to look up.

A tall boy, who looked much older, in a leather jacket was walking toward her with a dead serious look. Her breath quickened. Why was he walking towards her? Who is he? What does he want with her?
Then she remembered. Those familiar hazel eyes. The black leather jacket.

He stopped in front of her and bent down on his knee meeting her eye level. She didn't move but only stared back at him a bit fearfully. She stood her ground though and didn't move a muscle. Not even when he lifted up a finger and brushed a strand of hair off her cheek.
She prayed her mother would arrive and start honking.

"Dawn." He whispered her name like a feather. Her breath hitched when his finger traced her lips that were slightly chapped. She blinked immediately feeling conscious and he laughed.

"Who are you?" She managed to ask.

"I'm Ashton."

"What do you want? Why are you here and how did you find me?"

"I'm here because of you. Because you're mine. And babe, wherever you are, I am there too."

"This is not funny Ashton or whoever the heck you are," she pushed him away gently and stood up stuffing her book into her bag, "I'm not into your dirty games. I know you're some college boy who's probably doing a stupid dare but no, you can't control me." She spat and fixed her bag over her shoulders. Ashton laughed and stood up.

"Babe, I saw you, and I wanted you so here I am."

"Well, too bad because I'm not yours." She growled and Ashton's smile deepened.
