Thunder shook the building as Luke paced around inside constantly looking out the window. The kids were busy playing inside but knew they would have to leave soon to get back to their own tents. The tents were quite powerful and waterproof also containing heat so there was nothing to worry about.
"Where's Annie?" His mother asked as she placed a soft hand on Luke's shoulder stopping him from walking. Concern was evident in her eyes.
"She-I don't know we were outside and then-"
Luke was cute off when the door was suddenly blown open. A gust of wind pushed his hair up and he had to shield himself from the rain that was flying in his eyes.
"HELLO PEOPLE!" A male voice greeted and a brunette man stepped inside holding the hand that had touched Luke's face that same night. He wore a long green trench coat and his brown locks were soaked as well. His eyes glistened in the light and his red lips were damp with water. He was definitely intimidating. Luke watched as a shivering Annie stepped through the door. Instantly she was surrounded by kids providing her with towels and blankets to warm her up. She bowed her head and avoided Luke's eyes.
"Hi," Luke didn't even hear himself step forward while holding out a hand. He felt his little girl run over and wrap her arms around his leg. "I'm Luke. You must be..."
"Harry! And I see you all have met my Annie." he grinned and wrapped an arm around Annie who continued to stare at the floor.
"Oh! So you're the lucky guy." Luke fake chuckled as Harry returned the hand shake. Harry didn't even notice Luke's sour behavior.
"Of course I am! After much, much pushing she finally agreed to marry an idiot like myself." Harry giggled and hugged her closer to him. A forced smile pulled at her lips as she hugged the blanket tighter around her body. She slowly glanced up only to see the hurt in Luke's eyes. Her eyes welled up with tears and she looked away immediately. "So Mr. Luke. Do you work here?"
"Uh no. Actually I dropped by cause my daughter was here. I'm a little attached to her." Luke chuckled while rubbing his daughter's back. Harry grinned at the little girl with bangs just above her eyes.
"And who is this princess?" He kneeled down to become eye level her.
"This is my Annie." Luke smiled as he rubbed her back lovingly. Harry's eyes brightened.
"Wow! What a coincidence! Hello Annie!" He laughed and lifted a hand up so she could high five him. Annie shyly yet politely high fived him but deep down she was feeling awfully hurt that Ms. Evans had already found someone. She felt that she was already too late. "Best name in the world." Harry winked while walking past Luke and began greeting the kids and counselors.
Luke stood frozen still staring at Annie who awkwardly fiddled with the blanket over her shoulders. His mother walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder guiding him away. For now, the two of them needed space.

"35...36...37..." Annie Hemmings counted as she sat on the back of Harry while he did push ups. "38...39...40!" Annie beamed and tapped a small beat on his back earning a giggle in return.
"Mr. Styles, I have a funny question." she murmured as he layed down on his stomach and took a sip of his water bottle.
"Ask away." he grinned.
"Why are you marrying Ms. Evans?"
"Oh God! Do you think she's not good enough for me?" He joked yet continued in a serious tone. "I am a pretty hot guy I know." he smirked then flexed an arm making Annie roll her eyes.
